I woke up to the feeling of someone shaking my shoulders. In a panic, I jolted upright and looked around to see Emma in my bathrobe.
"What?" I groan, wiping my eyes.
"I forgot where the Advil's are."
"You're literally here five out of seven days." I huff, walking into the kitchen.
I searched through one of my side cabinets and pulled out a bottle of Advil and poured a glass of water to hand to Emma. She groggily reaches for it and downed two Advil's along with the whole glass of water. She let out a long groan after she'd swallowed the pills and set the glass down.
"You done?" I ask impatiently.
"Yeah," she sighed, walking back to where she'd slept the night before.
Since it looked like Emma was going back to sleep, and the others were still dead asleep, I decided to make breakfast for myself. To my surprise, I wasn't even sleepy, I felt wide awake and for the first time in almost a year, I didn't need to make myself a cup of coffee.
*2 Hours Later*
I'd finished my breakfast and I was laying on my bed working on my laptop when I heard footsteps come into my room. I looked up and found Emma looking at me, dressed in a blue Champion hoodie and a pair of pink pajama shorts.
"Ayo, wassup."
"Not much, wassup with you?"
"Same, I'm wide awake though."
"Thank God for that. I was not planning to be taking care of you three all day."
"Can we order chipotle?" She asked out of the blue.
"At ten in the morning?" I question.
"Yeah."
"Alright." I shrug, pulling up the postmates app.
I ordered enough for the four of us, so when Valerie and Olivia woke up, they wouldn't have anything to complain about.
It didn't even take ten minutes for the pizza to get here. Once it did, I paid the delivery boy at my front door and walked back into my room. When I walked through the doorway, I saw that Valerie and Olivia had joined Emma in my room.
"Hello Madeleine." Olivia deadpans.
"Uh, hi." I respond, setting the four bags down on my table.
"Emma was just telling us how you were planning to have Chipotle without us." Valerie chimed in, crossing her arms.
"Well the two extra bags would tell you otherwise I say, looking over at where I'd set the food only a moment before
The moment all three of them saw the bags, they practically made a dive for the food. The girls were halfway finished with their food, while I was just started to bite on the edge of my burrito.
"You guys need to slow the fuck down." I say through a bite.
"And you need to put yourself in a person who's hungover's shoes." Olivia yelled before going back to scarfing down her food.
Whatever
*15 Minute Later*
Once we'd all finished our food, we all laid back either toe-to-toe, head-to-toe, or horizontal to each other, we all let out a long and loud sigh of satisfaction.
"Dude I could eat chipotle every morning for the rest of my life if I had the ability to." Valerie said.
"Yeah, and if you had the fucking money." Emma responded.
I saw Valerie elbow Emma, making her let out a whimper.
"I sure as all hell wouldn't." I say, setting a hand on my stomach, "that shits painful."
After about two hours of watching wrapping blankets around ourselves to look like burritos and binge watching random TV shows on Netflix, I had an idea.
"Dude, we should go to the beach today."
"That sounds fun." Olivia smiles.
"When?" Emma asked, taking a sip from a glass of water.
"I don't know, around two." I shrug.
"That only gives me half an hour to put on a bathing suit that actually makes me look good." Valerie said with a slight bit of panic in her voice.
"Would you calm down and forget about how you look for once." Emma shouted it of nowhere.
We all went silent and I caught a glimpse of Olivia pursing her lips, I did the same before getting up and sliding my closet door open. Since I basically lived at the beach, I would go whenever I had free-time, so pretty much everyday. I'd gone to the beach so many times that I had a whole crate in my closet dedicated to bikinis and bathing suits. If I pulled them all out, there'd be at least twenty five. Yes, I'm THAT addicted to going to the beach.
*Half and Hour Later*
It was already 12:42 when we were finishing up getting dressed. The last one ready, as always, was Valerie, but none of us said anything. I grabbed the beach bag and we all piled into my car before driving off. Emma has always been dying to drive my car, so I finally let her. Yeah she could've still been drunk from last night, but who doesn't love living on the edge?
