Chapter 3

Agatha held back her husband, while Vukan's grandfather continued to stay in silence. 

The man finally broke out his words, "The respectable thing for you to do is be a man, accept this child and live life as it ought to be". 

"It isn't a child! It is a cell and it shouldn't even be in existence!" Vukan sapped back. "Why are you guys trying to make this complicated for me!? Why are you trying to make this into what it isn't!?"

Henry Adamson broke free from his wife. "How can you even still bear this crazy notion? I raised you better than to constantly try to shirt responsibilities but you continue to make a mockery of me and everything your mother and I have tried to imbibe into you!"

The level of hypocrisy in his father's tone just didn't sit well with him. The man preached of fairness but Vukan could only see him being unfairly treated over and over and again.
