There was a part of me as Spirit Cultivation was nearing its end that you were going to separate them somehow. It will give you the freedom to introduce new important characters, possibly more wives, and let his current wives have small independent character arcs and development. Good choice in my opinion.

I’m still worried for each of the wives, but poor Lisa will be suffering the most from pure dread being with the ever cheery Yiren. I’m sure Lisa will grow immensely from this tribulation. After all, she needs to realize that just because she has a supporting role among the wives in battle, doesn’t mean she needs to be constantly supported and dependent as an individual. Lisa is a strong and willful woman too just like all of her sister wives.
