The Tale of a Playful Jester

"Welcome" says the girl in front of the crowd that was still confused due to what was happening as they all stood in a blank space that was painted in white.

The girl was definitely out of place from the crowd as she was wearing a shrine maiden's clothes, however, that wasn't all, as on top of her head stands what appears to be fox ears and behind her were 9 fox tails that looked extremely realistic as they moved along with the girl's motions.

The crowd on the other hand were wearing highschool uniforms showing that the crowd were students except for one woman that seems to be the teacher.

"U-Uhm, W-Where are we!?"

"Who are you!?"

Various questions were thrown by the students towards the girl.

Irritation can clearly be seen on the girl's pretty face and she suddenly snapped her fingers.

*SNAP*

Upon this action, the students that were raising their voices shut their mouths as everyone felt a crushing pressure upon them.

"I'll only entertain a few questions and please choose one representative to ask me" said the girl while wearing a smile on her face but with eyes that clearly weren't as she released heavy killing intent to the crowd.

As she gave pressure to the crowd, she frowned as she noticed one person among the students that seems to be unaffected by the killing intent she was releasing.

After a few seconds, she retracted her killing intent causing the crowd to feel relieved.

A female student stepped out from the crowd.

"I'm the student council president, Kirishino Yuuki" said the student council president, Yuuki, with a respectful tone towards the girl.

She then asked the girl various question that the crowd wanted to know.

Apparently, the girl in front of them is a nine-tailed fox deity that governed a world that was highly advance and more dangerous than the world they lived in.

"Basically, I'm a God!" said the deity with great pride.

The deity proceeded to explain as to why she brought them at the place they were currently at.

Based on her explanation, it seems that in her world, a few decades back, rifts started opening up and within those rifts, monster poured out, as times passed, they kept getting stronger, various countries and continents were destroyed causing the humans of that world to migrate from the land to the air as the land and the sea became home to various monsters that could cause humanity's extinction, in fact, the original populace of that world has been reduced to 1/10 of its original number.

Although, they migrated to the air, rifts still opens up at the floating islands from time to time and monster attacks from flying creatures is a common occurrence, the populace is starting to dwindle and the deity wants to send reinforcement with abilities, she had to summon people from a different world as she was unable to summon the inhabitants of her world and grant them abilities.

"Now then, that's all, oh, and to avoid problems, instead of just transporting you, all of you will be reincarnated" she said with a smile.

Again, the crowd started raising their voices, however, upon doing so, the deity released her killing intent to the crowd causing them to quiet down.

"Now then, please say or think of "Status"" the girl explained, and the students followed her words causing them to be surprised.

In the eyes of the students, they could see a floating transparent windows containing various numbers, and words such as HP, MP, STR, INT, and etc, just like in games.

The status window for everyone showed that all of them were level 1.

"I'm sure most of you would understand what it is, it's a status board, seeing that I'm the one getting help here, i figured I should do this much, right?" the deity said, being self-righteous.

"Now then, with all of that out of the way, let's get moving" she said as she clapped her hands.

Upon her actions, each person on the crowd started to glow, this scared some of them causing them to shout, the crowd became hectic, however, before long, the glow got brighter and one by one each person started to disappear.

After a while, all of them disappeared from the blank space, or so the deity thought.

One student still remained, a man that looked rather gloomy compared to the rest of the class.

Unknowingly, the student went behind the deity and pointed a gun behind her.

"Y-You.....Who are you!?" the deity blurted.

"Akio, Mitsuragi Akio" Akio with a calm voice.

"Akio...-kun, what do you want?" the deity asked.

"Ah....it's just, earlier, you were lying, weren't you?" Akio said.

"What lying!?" the deity questioned.

The thing was, she indeed was lying, about almost everything.

She wasn't the one governing the world, managing a world was not a simple task, and this task usually falls on the hands of not only a single god but several of them and the gods of the mentioned world were not the good kind, the truth behind the students being summoned was for their entertainment, and the nine-tailed fox deity was simply a lower deity that the governing gods had given the task of tricking the students.

The question is, how did Akio know that what the fox said were lies?

Upon entering the blank space, Akio could hear a voice, the voice claiming that he/she was a deity, the sole deity that opposed to the idea of the other governing deities, this god was the one who exposed the truth to Akio.

After the deity's explanation, a window popped up in front of Akio saying to bring along the fox deity.

"Anyway, sorry but I have a mission to complete" Akio said as a card appeared on his hand.

"Bind" Akio said as he faced the card towards the fox deity.

Several chains appeared from the card and restrained the fox deity, she tried to struggle from the chains however, it was futile as she felt the chains caused her to weaken.

After some time, a white chain came out of the card and wrapped around her neck, the chain changed form in to what seems to be a tattoo of a collar and faded, afterwards, the card in Akio's hand, disappeared along with the rest of the chains.

After the disappearance of the chains, Akio and the fox deity's body started glowing like the students from before marking the time for their reincarnation.

Just like the rest before, Akio and the fox deity disappeared from the blank space.
