I love how sweet she is. She already accepts that he is “Brother” Calhoun unlike the rest who are judging him. I think he is proud, yet he acts unphased by her crow singing, knowing she did it on purpose after watching what he did at dinner. It hurt me a little that Theo considered using her. He is definitely a ladies man. I did not notice this in his later years.
