Theo is very intuitive & knows that there is something special about Cal. At this early stage, was Theo siding and backing Cal just for his own gain or could he truly see Cal as someone he wanted to stand beside (or behind 😂, you can’t stand beside a king). Black feathery wings - a symbol of Cal’s patience, strength & sacrifice...he put his mother first & took away her life rather than prolong her agony. Calhoun kills people who in his eyes have sinned against him....reminiscient of Maddie in dark angel mode when she kills those who have sinned. When Constance died, Cal became the next heir to Hell. Maybe that’s why his feathery wings appeared????
