Maybe I have a touch of the Mistress of Evil in me... but I think James is getting what he deserves! Think about it: from the very start, he even went to the Hallow Ball with Catherine! He supposedly liked Maddie, but was 2-timing her from day One?? NADA! You reap what you Sow!

Here I am thinking either James is such a goody two shoes or Catherine is a soon to be biitch in this novel. really IDK. Maybe I need to slap James first. let's see about Catherine in the future

Beth is still trying to get the attention of the king without noticing that all her schemes are well known to him and his game of words were lil trick to make her aware of the fact as well as to the mother dear. Catherine is too calculative and dangerous, donno how Mr. James will end up if he comply to to the proposal out of threats against his father by her father. But I have a hunch that he's gonna end up not in the clutches of Catherine but in the dungeon of Calhoun.

I’m just not sure what James did to deserve this -having to make a wedding dress for the woman he loves, yet won’t be marrying, and then having to marry the manipulative Catherine. Oh author -am I supposed to be feeling sorry for James‽

Poor Magda 😔she was a minor character but I am sad she died . Catherine ,plays dirty and she is more mean, cunning and sneaky than I thought . To think I thought she was nice and I felt sorry for her when she got her heartbroken.

James is a goody two shoes. He’s the nice guy that comes in LAST because he is too slow!

Me waiting right now ... I love this book so much that if this is finished, I will probably finish it in a day... I honestly have reread the entire book just because I miss Maddie and Calhoun all day... is that bad???

Daddy to the rescue. With the exception of Lucy, all of the vampires in the story are conniving and cunning so I’m not surprised that Catherine pulled a stunt like this. 🤔🤔🤔 I wonder what is it with Maddie and the whole opposite thing. I mean besides the obvious she’s light and he’s dark, they’re seems to be something greater. Can’t wait to find out about it and to see if Maddie actually becomes “Queen Hawthrone”. Although it would be a slap in the face for James and Beth, I think Maddie has the potential to be a great Queen. She’s genuinely kind, fair, outspoken, and virtuous. A dose of good medicine for Calhoun in my opinion. 💉💊😆
