Special Chapter: A Changed Man

[Raymond's POV]

Weekend was a busy day at NeonMIX Nightclub, unless there's a downpour that people would prefer to stay indoors rather than be out, clubbing. Raymond didn't mind the decreased customer count, as it gave him time to relax when no one was demanding a drink or two.

"Give me another shot."

No one except the broken-hearted blond seated in front of him.

Begrudgingly, Raymond poured tequila on another shot glass and slid it to Adrian along with a slice of lime, a dash of salt, and a sprinkle of regret. If he had known Johan's boyfriend, if he could call him that, would back out eventually, then he should have just kept his mouth shut.

Sometimes, ignorance was a bliss. Much like when he was still younger and didn't know any better. Although, now that he had connections, he wouldn't hesitate to pull Johan away from the man keeping him chained to his dangerous family. He thought Adrian would strongly feel the same.
