Chapter 315: Interruptions

Crew didn't get to tell me what he wanted to. Instead, I was left hanging as Alicia and Jared appeared at our table as if by magic. Clearly I'd been so wrapped up in my boyfriend I'd failed to see the two approach. I stood and hugged them when I got over my disappointment they'd intruded on what was clearly an important moment. Crew wasn't so gracious, at least not at first, though he did join me and shake Jared's hand when I let the tall, handsome contractor go.
