Alternate character pov takes away from the story in my opinion. Also not to tripe on the way you portray romance in the novel, but it is never as straight forward as this in any novel or life. Just my opinion though. The overall story has an laid back design and descent mc internal dialog.
Aren't this way to fast . Can't you wait the relationship to deepen and know each other for few more month before get marry. This love feel like fake, Even desperate widow won't act like this.
