just a heads up, the absolute shortest chapter word cound in all types of books is 1.5k but goes up to 5k, generally being 3k-4k. Just read your intro and wanted to put your mind at ease. 2.8k average word count is all good. not sure where you heard 1k-1.5k was the norm, unless people are padding chapters
