Melromarc

Teleporting back in the room after dealing with the wave Sophia and I are exhausted. The monsters were bigger and stronger, so they took more hits to go down. The tear in the sky didn't close until almost two hours later when monsters finally stopped pouring out of the damn thing.

With so much moving around we were sweaty and sticky, so it was time for a shower. I open a portal to a dense part of the wilderness with a giant lake and a waterfall where there are no people.

We both wash each other under the running water with all-natural enchanted soap. Gotta keep our skin silky smooth. After washing up we both cuddle up in our bed for a good night's sleep.

====================morning=======================

We wake up and spend a good thirty minutes cuddling in the morning sunshine before getting ready for the day.

Walking downstairs with my wolf girl illusion on and gauntlets hidden, we are greeted by shouts of an angry guest about how animals shouldn't be let into the rooms and instead sleep in the barn. I rolled my eyes before taking a seat at an empty table and pulling a full course meal out of the gate.

I already prepared some of the monster meal in the room, but I wanted to pull this out in front of people because I knew it would piss off the inn owner. He hates beast men and sold our room key to some kidnappers and slavers in the middle of the night. Shame I used a spell on the door to suck out the soul of anyone with ill intent that tries to open it. Now those bastards are in my personal hell.

After breakfast we leave to explore the city but are stopped by a guard accusing us of stealing a noble's belongings. Ah yes, this shit. I don't like any of it. This entire kingdom was just terrible. I heard talks about the shield hero and how he does terrible things to his companions. Now I know that was just a lie created by the higher ups to suppress a threat, or more likely someone they just didn't like.

I had already put up an illusion when I saw the pompous jackass. He was talking to empty air about taking it to jail if it resisted, before swinging around and punching the noble in the face. HA! I kept up the illusion until we were long gone with all our stuff and the noble ended up looking like the ugliest goblin in the world.

We decided to just sleep in the gate when in Melromarc because everywhere else wasn't worth the bother.
