Angeal started, now looking at the old man as she continued talking.

"Devin loves me… Devin loves me—all this time, and I'm too stupid to notice."

When Angeal said this to her grandfather, Gladios, even Gladios couldn't say a word. He didn't like that his granddaughter called herself stupid, that's why he sighed, shaking his head to disagree then gave her a small smile.

"No, you're not stupid," he started, "You're just too slow to realize, Angeal."

Angeal couldn't say a word. Her face was beet red as she was having this conversation with Gladios, the old man diverting their conversation.

"So, since you already realized and thought this, what do you think of your feelings towards him now? What do you want to do about it? Once you go back when everything's okay… what will you do about his curse?"
