Synopsis

Chapter 1Before the war.

During the year 1666 there was a hero name Hakumi Sasanachi. Rumors around the world it that this hero had all the odds against him but still helped Japan to win the war of The Continents it all starts in the year 1644. Hakumi had a home in where he had a big family. "Hakumi-hun come down breakfast is ready for you" Fanichi called up. " Alright I'm coming down."

"So what are we having for breakfast." Kakumi asked to his parents Ariou his father and Fafino his mother. 'Rolled suchi." Fafino replied. Kakumi was splendid since it had been a couple years since he had rolled suchi. You see his family lived in deep poverty so eating rolled suchi was hard to get.

"Uwu." Fanichi hiccups Hakumi asks "What did you say?" Then his parents start to laugh. "It's her hiccups again." Hakumi parents say at the same time. He was then calmed because he was quite scared that she was sick with the disease going around at those times.

Hakumi had never went to school before so his parents had to teach him alone. That day they were sitting at home teaching Hakumi when the impossible happened a bomb fell on his house. The the alarms sounded. Europe had flown bombers over to Asia and started bombing the whole area. His parents and his sisters were stuck under rumble. You see his other sister was still in bed that day since she was psychical worn out from her work to keep the family alive. He luckily didn't get rubble on him so he was trying to get them out of the rubble when a plank landed on his back. So he was knocked out.

Then he woke up suddenly and was in a medical tent then the doctor came over and told him "Ah your finally awake" and he replies" how is my family." In a panicked voice. "I'm sorry to say let see... Hakumi that's your name right." "yes it is." Haku replies. "Your family is dead." the doctor replies Hakumies suddenly starts crying.

He's abit more mature having grown up on his own and just a littttttttle bit dense. Although it always ends up with him winning, it always happens in an interesting (subjective) and fun way that makes me enjoy reading this. The novel has elements of lighthearted comedy from time to time and I do chuckle at how direct the humor is. It's not as smart as say WMW nor does it weave an intricate story much like Ergen's novels. More importantly, its fun and it doesn't try to hide it.

So even if you are a bit turned off initially, I promise that the story improves quickly.
