I’d like to add that I did the romance a bit too early. While I do feel that romance was a strong point in my story, after Huang Yu and Gu Yue confessed, there was nothing more to go off of unless I did drama(i.e them fighting then splitting for awhile). In all honesty, romance should have been at the end of the story unless it was a harem. That was a mistake that I did as well.
It's alright mate. It was a fabulous ride and I really can't even fathom regretting it. The fact, that you actually tried again after loosing your motivation shows how devoted to your reader base you are and that's something I respect even more than your talent. I also appreciate the fact, that you didn't just drop but communicated your reasons and the faults you observed in your own story. This shows that you are actively trying to better yourself, which makes me really excited for your future projects! Don't burn yourself out and keep having fun while writing!
Author, op characters should have their OP abilities as secondary priority. As a tool, not as his defining character trait. Huang yu kinda doesnt have much besides his powers. No hobbies, no other interactions, too logical and so on... It is the overall story/plot design that ruined it, NEVER think that op characters are not fun to read and write. There are plenty that succeeded. Thanls for the entire story! It been alot of fun.
Thank you.. I've been looking for FF SL3 for a long time with a story like this, mc OP and no harem and of course mc's lover is Gu yue, I was very sad when I found out his fate in the original story so I tried to escape from reality by reading FF SL3 which makes Gu Yue the MC's lover and makes her happy... well the story itself isn't complete but it's good enough because I just want to see Gu Yue happy.. (I know that Gu Yuena is still alive in SL4)
