Hope they can get along i know he never had a parental figure in his 2 lifes and i hope that hid parents know he is a reincarnation or atleast that in his past life they were still his parents it can be like a wormhole had get him when he was swnding him down to the mortal world and they finally found him but they werent able to get to him because of the universe laws and they were only able to make him reincarnate him as a baby again

As for your writing, it does seem a bit difference from before, a chapter before seem to be enough to conclude an event most of the time and it seem to be a bit more on the light heart side? Now it's go into more detail so it took multiple chap but I think it good too.
