This did not solve my doubts, I would not see any kind of problem in this duality if I were the same person, but it is not ... In addition to Damian having a personality that does not resemble Ethan, nor the same appearance they there is, what I mean by that is that it doesn't look like a person and his facets, but two different people. Who is the protagonist? Damian or Ethan? Because they don't appear to be two sides of one person, but two completely different people. And it kind of discourages me a little bit, because Ethan seems to exist because he exists, he literally hasn't achieved anything so far, Damian did it and the way he is going, only Damian will achieve something. It seems to me that Ethan is a side character and Damian is the real protagonist, he has the skills, he has the looks, he has the women while Ethan does nothing. Basically, I say again that it looks like two people, not two sides of one person, I don't see duality, they don't even seem to have the same body.
* Continuing my comment * Do you know author? When you said that this story would be about a person's duality, different sides of his personality, that's not what I expected ... I thought I was going to see a different side of Ethan, who despite being another side of him, a different , it would still be another side of Ethan, but Damian is not that, he doesn't remember Ethan in any way, he doesn't look like a different side, he looks like someone else, with different personality and mentality, different appearance , everything different .. This is not duality, it looks more like someone with multiple personality disorder, Damian doesn't remember Ethan, they don't even seem to share the same body. What it looks like is that Ethan pushes a little button and Damian appears, it doesn't look like Damian is part of who Ethan is, he is simply someone else. And that bothers me a lot, because I don’t see why Ethan exists, Damian solves things, Damian looks the best, Damian has the strongest personality, Damian also has women.
Sigh. I try to joke around and yare-yare. But this anime cliches, seeping in original story, really hit me hard. Finding a novel with somewhat realistic vibes, without ultimate cool guy or hero as mc, is really hard nowadays. First, they portrait demons/devils same as humans, even more kind. Than make a dragons that just generally naive and stupid. Now all incubus become gentlemans. And I mean all. Last one, with somewhat believable incubus that I remember, was inmo no hado. Yes, I know it's my personal problem and subjective view, but my God. When the last time was a harem, where girls don't mention how kind mc? It was everywhere. Story is not bad, it's just my personal tragedy and rant. Don't take it closely. I need a drink 😔
So... u just write a normal handsome guy adventures, bc the incubus part is just a bait..., INCUBUS/SUBUCUS principal trait is Lust( Desire + perv + Deprav ), is not play the game respecting the rules, IS FORCE U WAY FOR SATIATE U LUST... if u change the name for The Handsome System this story will make more sense
