"ugh..." a soft groan echoed in the middle of the night.
Under the light of the moon, in the corner of a few one floors, one room, small residences, built against a 5 meters wall, a wall stretched far in the darkness of the night.
Taking a gray stoned path between these small houses to the last one.
We see a humble abode, secured with a red wooden door, walls raised with gray bricks, no signs for any paint.
A clear sign, speaks loudly of the status of the one occupying this small house.
Past the red door, is a room, small in dimensions, no window to be seen, but another door leading to a few square meters yard.
On the only bed in the room lays a young man in his early twenties.
" ugh... this is not the right time for a headache!".
Slowly picking himself up, the young man kept kneading his forehead.
Yet the next second, all the complaints he was about to let loose out his mouth came to a stop.
As if someone is choking him, his eyes bulging, observing his surroundings.
Fear started bubbling in his stomach, waking up in an unfamiliar room with a headache, anyone in his place would be panicking by now, so fear was a normal reaction in this situation.
"Ooph...ooph..." exhaling deeply, he took the first action he thought is the most suitable in this situation, keeping his calm and think rationally.
But what happened next, was nothing short of magical.
With every item in this room that his eyes stopped to appreciate, bits and pieces of memories related to these items, slowly started swimming up the surface of his mind.
With more memories unearthed, more showed up, and the calmer he becomes, yet the shock and astonishment never left his eyes.
"T..this is insane!!..." standing up from the bed, the young man kept assessing his body, which is, obviously not his.
" Does this mean I died on earth.. but I don't recall anything of the sort! "jin from the blue planet known as earth, from the modern-day, just found out, he is no longer in the familiar solar system of the milky way.
Organizing the bits and pieces of memories he was just adorned with, his new identity, or more like the new body is of a young man of 22 years old, goes by the name of Marik.
Marik is a young man who used to live in Adimak Balik village, a village that relies on farming and hunting, and the fish from the Jilan river which is the origin of the village's name, a fish that colonize this part of the river called the stupid fish, and a satellite village, under the jurisdiction of the city of Aydahar.
One of the 7 main cites of the Namalik Kingdom located to the west of the capital Ashim.
"It looks like, I only have memories of my father! , none of my mother! " Marik slowly mulled and digested the over 20 years' worth of memories in this new world.
" Sigh... from an expert in AI to a servant..." by now, 'Marik' is already in the know of his new identity or place in society in this new unfamiliar yet familiar world.
A young man lucky to have an educated father in a world where education is at its lowest.
Before his father passed away he taught him all his knowledge despite how meager it was, from reading to writing to simple math.
He relied on this simple knowledge to secure a living in the village till the day he was noticed by a manager of the Aidass family, who was patrolling the lands that belong to the Aidass family, making sure taxes are paid and the farms are in a good shape.
That how Marik was hired as a servant, a rank 2 servant precisely, courtesy of his education, if not, he would have started from the bottom as a rank 5 servant in the Aidass family to be trained and educated to become a loyal hard-working servant of this noble family, of course, that in case he got even the chance to an interview, let alone getting accepted.
"A servant huh!...well it's not a bad thing, at least in the aidass family I have a chance to get in touch with knowledge about Aura training! , way better than the village, where only the village chief who owns an aura training manual, sigh.., well it barely qualifies as a manual, since he just reached the 8th step of the first stage of Aura training, the Aura practitioner stage, despite training for more than 30 years. " analyzed Marik seeking the bright side of his situation.
Jin of planet earth was someone good with data, thanks to the nature of his work, dealing with artificial intelligence, on a daily basis, the reason why he quickly collected himself and went after dissecting the huge amount of information he received, and things like why or how he ended up here in this strange world, where the strength of a single man can rival an army, he didn't care, because, its just a waste of time.
Those answers won't change anything, basically, he accepted his fate.
And what Jin found from his new memories, fascinated him.
Be it the noble aura users or the simple yet savage body refining path.
"This is going to be interesting!" said Marik with a small smile etched on his face, a face, jin of the earth would rate as 8 out of 10, with a fit and lean body with the hight of 188 cm, black hair, eyes the color of obsidian if you ignore the servant clothes on him, you would mistake him for a young master from a noble family.
...
At the same time, Jin woke up, on another section of the Aidass family's huge mansion, in a private villa's garden, a figure sat on a wheelchair near a small clean pond; so clean, you can see the reflection of what appeared to be a young girl under the bright moonlight.
Long unkempt golden hair, slightly dim sapphire blue eyes, body so thin as if malnourished; sitting there on the wheelchair makes it hard to ascertain her age.
Right behind the wheelchair stood a maid, you can tell from the black and white outfit; the embroidered symbol on her sleeve proves her as a rank-1 maid.
"Young lady... it's late and cold outside... let's head back inside" suddenly said the maid in an uneasy and worried tone, not sure if worried about her job or the young lady's health.
The young girl on the wheelchair on the other hand just kept Staring at the moon.
A few minutes later, she spoke for the first time "take me back" said the young girl in a low and slow tone.
Before the maid started pushing the wheelchair back, the girl took a last glance at the pond's mirror-like surface, looking at her reflection, a plethora of emotions blossomed in her eyes.
Grief, repugnance, resentment, helplessness, weakness, and sorrow.
