A Day in the Mall (Part 1)

The girls calmed down after a while after hearing Akanes' piece. After hearing it they really felt like they were at home. They wanted to say something, but suddenly heard a voice behind them.

"Whoa, Akane! You have a new piece? Why didn't you say so earlier? You know I am your biggest fan!"

""""Mirko?!""""

The four girls were surprised seeing japans number five hero in person, even though they already met her once.

"Hey girls! Nice to see you again!"

She was very casual about them seeing her, after all they were Akanes friends.

"Thank you for the compliment, I am very proud of it myself. But I wanted to show you and mommy my created pieces, if I completed my album. Way to go to spoil yourself Rumi."

"Haha! You know how I am, girl!"

They approached each other, before casually fist bumping.

"I know you said to us, that your mother is Mirko's' girlfriend, but seeing her so casually here is still unbelievable."

The other three members of the club, nodded their heads. But Rumi had another reaction, her cheeks slowly started to turn red after hearing the word 'girlfriend'.

"Geez. Akane, already going around and telling other people of our relationship? I would find it better if you didn't go around telling people about this. What if I get targeted by villains and they use me against Rumi, forcing her to do some rather very humiliating things..."

Her mother Fumio appeared, casually hugging Rumi from behind. The bunny hero wasn't amused at her girlfriends' words.

"Idiot! As if I ever would let you get caught by some villains, if push come to shove, I am going to try and save you with my life!"

Fumio chuckled at her girlfriends' words.

"You didn't deny doing the humiliating things for me."

"You know I would do anything for you, Fumio."

Hearing this, both women started to blush intensely.

"And there she is again, my ditzy mother self-destructing."

Fumio wanted to lean back from her girlfriend to stand straight and look embarrassed, but she overextended and forgot that she wore high heels and started to slowly fall back.

Everyone kind of realized to late that she was falling, but Akane already stood behind her and caught her in the air.

"Man, mommy, you should be more careful, just because you are embarrassed doesn't mean that you should forget about yourself and your environment, we can't have you fall down each day, can we?"

Akanes mother stood back up again, calming down after the little shock.

"You are right my cute cinnamon roll. I'll try to be more careful in the future."

The girl just nodded at her mother's words.

"Girls, I think we saw enough of the adult couple flirting! Let's explore my house!"

Early afternoon ended as the girls finished exploring Akanes' house.

"I am kind of disappointed that we didn't get to see Akanes' baby photos, I imagine her to be a real cutie as a baby too."

"Right, Yui! I know I am not supposed to say this, but I am happy that there is someone more beautiful than me in the club now! The boys mainly only approach me anymore, because they want some of her contact information!"

"You didn't give them anything about me, right KanKan?"

"Of course not, I am a good friend after all!"

"Guys, the baby photos, you are not hiding them, because you are embarrassed, right?"

"How could I? Even if I wanted to show them to you, I can't. I am adopted."

The mood turned somber the moment the group of friends heard these words.

"I am sorry, Akane. I shouldn't have tried teasing you about this."

"You don't have to. You really don't have to. I might not be able to remember them, well. But I am sure my parents by blood really loved me. It's just I heard that my mother that gave birth to me died during the process of it and my father apparently died from overwork. I don't really resent them, because they tried to try their best for me, but the world just wasn't nice to them."

The room was silent, before Akita chose to say something.

"Can you tell us about your past? Aki, is sure we all are interested about it, right guys?"

Everyone nodded. Seeing this Akane sighed.

"Well, I am going to leave the details out, because I want to enjoy the day. So, I am going to give you an overview of the first three years of my life. After my father died, I was sent to and orphanage by the government, I wasn't treated well there and hated each day of my life there, until Fumio finally came and adopted me at the age of three."

Akane might have left most of her story out, like being abused by the staff there, or almost being beaten to death by the kids there, but they didn't need to know, they would look at her in a completely different light if she told them about that.

The girls didn't think much about it and accepted the story that Akane told them, they felt like she was withholding some stuff, but they thought that she chose to do so for their sakes.

"Well, we explored my house, there is nothing much left to do! Let's go to the mall!"

The girls all stood up, forgetting about the tense situation and started to cheer, despite the obvious bottled up things Akane had, she was a fun person to be around.

So, they all decided to go to the mall to have some fun. They walked around, had some fun, visited some clothing shops, looks inside some interesting looking shops, ate various snacks in between, before ending their visit to the mall with a visit in the 'Ahnenerbe'.

The friends didn't know where to go to for dinner, so Akane suggested this cafe. Despite it being the usual go to looking cafe, the Ahnenerbe offered a multitude of dishes you could eat for lunch or dinner.

Yuiko ordered (Japanese) curry, Kanna a serving of fried rice, Akita a Hamburg steak, Touko ordered form the kids' menu, and Akane ordered a whole lot of food as usual. The waiter even looked at her with an incredulous look.

"This was a fun day! We should do something like this again!"

"Aki agrees! Aki had so much fun today like she hasn't in a long time again, this day surely is on spot one of my best days in my life!"

"Really, even before the day you thought you didn't pass the exams, but it turned out you were first in class?"

"Ok, maybe second, but you know what I want to say Touko!"

And so, the five friends laughed again in this day, they laughed again, like so many times they already did. Sadly, this day was about to be ruined.

"TERRORIST ATTACK!"

Could be heard, followed by a big ass explosion. The only thing Akane could think in this moment, is 'great', just as I had fun, the world decides to cuck everyone in the mall. She looked around her group of friends, each of them looked very shocked and is if they were just about to have a mental breakdown.

Akane sighed, just what she needed for the day. Akane pressed the emergency button on her phone, the one that sends an emergency signal to Rumi, if she ever was in danger. Help would come, but until then they need to hold out. She turned to Yuiko. She was the first one that needed to get out of her daze. It was weird, but the girl had a charisma that told people to help her out, because 'we have the feeling that she won't be able to anything without us'.

Akane crawled towards her, took Yuikos hands and put them together in a way a nun would put hers together each morning.

Yuiko didn't realize what Akane was doing, because she was currently too shocked to pay attention to her surroundings.

Still seeing Yuiko in a daze, Akane sighed. That girl went of to the deep end of panic, so she moved her hands behind her back, before taking a good swing at Yuiko's hands. The great shock she felt through her hands brought her out of daze.

The moment she wasn't in shock anymore was the moment she realized what just happened and that Akane was right in front of her.

"Yuiko, I know it's a difficult situation, but I need you to calm down, we can't organize ourselves if we are too deep in shock."

The leader of the club nodded at her words. She needed to be calm, to protect her friends.

"What should I do?"

"Well, first of all I think you need to give the three idiots a speech to get them out of their daze, then..."

And so, did the two leaders of their club create a plan, to stall for time, so the heroes could move in and stop the terrorists.

The leader of the terrorist group currently sat inside a big chair, smoking a big cigar, satisfied with the results of his attack on the mall, he would call his operation a success.

"Leader, we have a problem."

His mood was ruined.

"Don't tell me that heroes already managed to enter the mall, just as we finally managed to get control over the mall."

"No boss, it isn't a hero problem."

He was elated after hearing these words, 'no hero problem', that is something he wanted to hear.

"Well then, what is the problem about if you have to inform me?"

"Well..."

"Spit it out, idiot."

"Well, it's about five girls..."

The guy couldn't believe what he heard just now.

"Care to repeat?!

The goon gulped on loud time before replying to his boss.

"Five girls are currently on the run of our members, successfully escaping them by using their quirks in an effective manner, or so it seems."

The guy felt angry, knowing that five girls are currently humiliating him, but if he was angry, he didn't show it to his face.

"Boss?"

He walked behind his new desk, sat on the chair their...

...and flipped the table.

"I don't care what you do, or will do with the girls, catch them, shoot them, kill them, use them, I don't care! Just remove them, I don't need unknown variables in my plan! Now scram and deal with the problem!"

"Yes, sir!"

He sat down again and sighed, he really had only useless staff under him.

Akane and her friends were currently on the run. They were successful in the attempt to stall for the time to run. They were currently inside a ventilation duct, trying to find a way out, sadly the soon found out that this the ventilation system is like a labyrinth and that they are never going to find a way out like this.

But luckily, they had Akane and her echolocation to lead the way. She used her echolocation to search for ways that aren't ricocheting her sound back to her. It currently worked really well.

"I am sorry guys, the thing exit is still a bit away, but if we continue like this we will reach then end."

The four girls nodded. They just wanted the situation to be over.

Akane was determined, determined to crawl out of the ventilation duct and bring her friend out of this dangerous situation.

"Touko, one of the sound makers please."

Touko threw a little object towards Akane, it was one of these little alarm things that children primary school children get, to prevent kidnapping.

Akane just poked a little hole into the ventilation duct and threw the thing into the opposite direction they were going. This should distract those terrorists.

After a long while of crawling the girls were a bit tired and wanted to rest but they continued to move on. They just were right in front of their goal, but then they heard the sound of doom, from beneath them.

"Guys? Do you also hear that high-pitched sound?"

"High-pitch sound?"

"Yeah, like repeatedly, again and again, I just here that high-pitched sound!"

If these guys knew what it implied the girls would be in danger.

At the Seigi Residence:

"Fumio, I am going out to save Akane, wish me luck."

"Do you really want to go with these stockings?"

"What do you mean..."

She looked down and saw that instead of her black stockings she wore pink ones with a bunny pattern on it, saying 'kawaii'.

"Damn, where are the stockings for my costume!"

"They are here!"

She looked up, but instead of her stockings she was met with a deep kiss from Fumio that took away her breath. Afterwards Fumio leaned on her chest and looked up into now Mirko's face

"Her your costume stockings, be safe and please bring my daughter back in a healthy state. Can you do that?"

The bunny hero just nodded, before walking out of the door.

"I will, I promise you that."

After saying these words, she made her way to the mall in her fastest speed.
