A quick Job.

I was sitting in the office of Steele tech going over some papers when I was met with a guest. The elevator at the end of the hall dinged open which confused me cause this was a private elevator and it was on this floor already.

Out walked a bald woman in strange robes that made me take on a serious face. If there was one thing I had to truly be wary about it was powerful mages let alone mages who uses things like time magic or stones.

She approached my desk and sat down across from me. I pull out some tea from the system and pour some for the woman.

"Delicious, I still can't figure out how you do that." She says eying the teapot.

"That's probably best off a secret." I say drinking my tea.

"Yes it is." She says with a smile.

"So what can I do for the ancient one?" I ask

"I heard from a reliable source that you take on jobs. I have a small one for you that you may enjoy I will also pay in magical tombs you haven't heard of or read which will interest you." She says sipping her tea.

"Alright and what job do you want me to do?" I ask seriously.

"This job is going to seem right up your alley and ironic at the same time. I want you to woo someone to prevent future catastrophes and kill someone." She says with a small smirk.

"Okay so where's the ironic part?" I ask.

"The person I want you to woo into a binding marriage is none other than Morgan Le Fay. I want you to kill King Arthur." She says dropping a bomb.

"Okay you've got my attention." I say folding my hands.

"Morgan Le Fay is part faerie and is immortal. She has extremely strong magical powers that can bend space and time and is extremely smart. She will cause many problems in the future alongside Dr.Doom however I can send you before him to complete a ritual. The ritual is one where she summons a warrior to kill the king and in exchange you can make any request to her and she has to accept. That's if you succeed." She explains.

"So you want the heir of Merlin himself to overthrow a king he helped raise and ruin all of Camelot?" I ask for confirmation.

"Ever wonder why Camelot fell? Wouldn't it be completely unforeseen if merlins own heir destroyed it?" She says sneakily.

"You are crazy! I love it, send the paperwork to my boss and deliver the fee and tell me when to start." I say happily.

"Now." She says as the floor drops out from under me and I land in a dark room filled with candles and the smell of burning spices. There's runes under my feet painted in blood of some sort. There's a woman in front of me still chanting.

"Are you going to keep chanting or?" I ask putting my hand in my pockets.

She stops and looks at me.

"You are the warrior I summoned? Where is your sword? Your armor?" She asks me.

I materialize my sword and elder wand.

"Does a goblin forged blade and the wand of death count or do I need to pull out something else?" I ask her.

"Wand of death?" She looks at it greedily before lunging at my throat with a knife. It just skitters across my skin doing nothing.

I back hand her into a wall with a powerful boom. "You wish to mug the master of death like a common thug? Bitch if I didn't know Santa so well and owe him a few favors I'd destroy you on the spot."

"You are the master of death? My apologies lord I didn't know the hollows had been United." She says with a broken bow.

Her body was healing at a super fast rate her immortality isn't a joke.

"Since you've summoned me you must know the details of the agreement right? You can request one thing and if I complete it I get anything from you I desire. I suggest not asking for the hollows as I can reject and just leave. Do you agree?" I ask the woman.

"I agree, my request is you kill my brother King Arthur of Camelot." She says.

"I accept. My price is a soul binding marriage between us if I win." I say to her shock. I pull out my trusty compass and speed off in the direction it's pointing. I see the giant golden glowing castle in the distance. I smash right through a set of wards on the outskirts. They barely have time to go off before I kick the massive gate off the wall with a loud resounding boom.

"By Lords right I challenge Arthur Pendragon to a contest of combat." A magical gong sounds out and a golden ring forms around me. "Do you dare accept or do you choose to cower in your castle king of knights?" I call out as the guards surround me.

"I accept your challenge and you will pay with your life." Another gong sounds out as a tall blonde man with glowing silver armor and a golden sword walk out of the castle.

We meet in the center of the ring and do the proper sword salute and bow.

Next up was a flash of blades Excalibur sliced right through my goblin forged blade. That's a good blade. I duck under a swing toward my head. I don't know what Excalibur would do to this body but I'm not willing to chance it. My foot comes up as my head goes down connecting with the side of his face and smashing him into the ground. He's completely uninjured. I latch onto his sword arm and plant my foot onto his back I start using my strength to pop it out of place or make him drop the blade. There's a popping noise as his shoulder dislocated and the blade slips from his grasp. Before it can hit the ground I snatch it up and swing it towards his neck. There's a squelching noise as his head rolls.

Magic rings out again declaring a victory. "By Right of conquest I claim all that is yours as mine." Another magical wave. Excalibur binds to me as does the kingdom of Camelot. I quickly store the entire kingdom in one of my stasis orbs.

"As honor dictates I shall allow you to be buried with a complete corpse." I say as his knights charge me in rage only to be swiftly cut down.

The last person to charge me is a beautiful woman. I expect this is queen guinevere. There's another slash as she too is reunited with her loved one.

"Ah this was a real drag." I say with a sigh. "Hela."

There's a dark light and the woman in question appears behind me.

"Make sure these people are honored and have a peaceful afterlife." I tell her and she nods the bodies are quickly sucked into darkness.
