Intermission: the other side of continent

Urgh~ (human groan)

The person open the eyes. She raise her body and looked around she saw surrounding is snow. As, she looked around she groan in pain.

*groan~*

She started to remember her family together with her husband, daughter and son are at vacation. Then, a darkness consume them and she only saw her husband keep struggling to saved her back. Then, a tear drops in her cheek she cried while holding her she said.

"Who is him? I can't remember his name? my daughters name? son? wait where are they?"

She stand up and slowly walking. When she take step she remember something *groan~* She groan in pain of her head. She whispered "Hel? That is my name? So, this my name from the weird dream..."

Hel, thinked deeper she heard and child cry together with the beast sound. She know stopped her movement and looked at certain direction. *tump~* She trembled and run toward the child cry and she saw a tiger with Larger fang tearing a child's body. She whispered "child? Nooo...."

In her anger a frost spike burst out from her feet running toward the tiger. When the tiger detect the incoming danger it jumped away.

*Grrr~* The tiger looked toward the creature. It saw the delicious meal has eaten better. The tiger jumped toward it's prey. Hel, looked at the tiger direction she said "die..."

*puk!*

The snow become solidify and become a frosty spikes penetrating toward the tiger. Then, the tiger died without realizing the cause of death.

Hel saw the death of the tiger. She run toward the child and she said "Son? are you okay..."

Hel's son looked at his mother. He raised his bloody hands and touch his mother's check. He asked "Mom... I'm afraid... will I die?"

Hel smiled at her son. Her hands are trembling while holding her son. She said "Son, Don't worry you won't die. I will saved you including your father and sister. We will spend our time together."

The child smiled even in his young age. He has the concept about death because he grow in military family. He replied weakly "Mom... don't lie... please saved da--"

"Noooo~!!"

Hel hold her son in his arms. When she realized her son already stopped breathing. She cried in pain and looked at the sky. She whispered "Son, I will sreached for them, I promise."

*Grrr~* Tiger with a large fang keep appearing, but they died in Hel's power. That day the spotless snow showered in blood.

The first day in the unknown world. The history of humanity started once again in the another world, a parallel world of ancient Earth. Where fossil of the modern world are the the top of the food chain in the past. Where the law of the jungle are applied in practical way.
