I hope the novel doesn't make everyone else stupid to try and make the MC seem less of a moron, like library of heavens path, so much cringe when people can't figure out basic things like the MC pretending to be someone else.

I can tell I'm already going to hate the MC. So far he seems to be a moron. A student confesses to him, he rejects her and then she starts spreading rumors that could ruin his career. Instead of calling in her parents and the principal and having a disciplinary discussion, he decides the best thing to do is meet with her in a park and go on a boat ride. How did he expect the talk with a teenager to go? All it would take is one picture and she has evidence of them on a 'date'.
