7 Chapter 7: Plothole

The traditional German dishes were laid out in order of the meal with milk instead of wine for Ray. Although the look of Hunger could be made out from the eyes of Ray he didn't dare touch the food.

Ray saw Gellert attracting his attention.

"You don't have to be so tense. I may be a bit Dark but I know familial love. By the way, why haven't you questioned the existence of magic till now to me? "

The silver cutlery starts floating, slices the steak and puts a piece in Rays Mouth.

"Oh, I see you really are my grandson. I thought if you were a squib I may have to torture you to turn you into an obscurus. Just Kidding ? "said Grindelwald with a creepy smile similar to an old man who has kidnapped 666 children in his lifetime. Somehow Ray didn't think it was a joke.

"Anyway all your clothes have been put in your room. You will be staying with me for three years or to say till you get your Hogwarts letter.I will send you back to your orphanage just in time for the letter so that nobody knows what you did these three years"

"Yes, Boss I think You better Pay attention cause it will help you to cast spells. YOu know I can only cast spells which you have mastered perfectly when you reach 11 years old"

"OK" Ray nods politely to Gellert.

"You may return to your room now. You can take any book from the library but you better stay away from the dark magic ones "

Ray exits the dining hall and returns to the library.

"Sorry boss the magic book needs soul strength to read and understand magic.I can only slowly collect energy from you and hence the time"

Ray selects an old magic book and starts reading.

Ray wakes up to find his bed on fire. He screams like a Pussy .

"Boy, you must always be attentive to your surroundings in the wild . Predators may attack you out of nowhere" said Gellert while putting out the fire . Nothing was Burnt. Ray remembers that the dark lord was good at illusions and mind manipulation. He starts sweating and blurts out " But we are in a fucking prison"

This results in him getting seven stupefy in a row on his ass.

"Get ready In 15 Minutes"

"Yes drill sergeant"

15 min later

Ray with sloppy eyes and unkempt hair is standing in a military stance outside the prison

"Grandpa what magic are we going to learn today ?" said Ray with puppy eyes

"Magic Oh no. Your first tasks are 100 push-ups 100 squats and 10 km run every morning for a year. And Begin" Gellert commanded

"WTF is this OPM training?"

Ray obediently lies on the ground and starts pushups.

30 min later

"99 and finally 100" Ray slumped to the ground exhausted.

"Grandpa am I not your own flesh and blood. I am just seven years old . How can I go through this hellish training? arent magicians supposed to battle it out with their d... I mean sticks "

"Boy do you really think you can overpower those 100-year-old foggies only on magic? at best you can tie them .you still need that winning edge . Now Continue. Stupefy"

Rays butt gets hit. He immediately starts running.
