The one where they spent evening together

She messaged her friend Sunaina and waited for Abhikshith to return, time was 7:07pm.

"Hey can we go to home?", asked Kruthika and stood up as she saw Abhikshith returning.

"So soon!", said Abhikshith.

"You can stay if you want"said Kruthika.

"Can we both stay here for 5 minutes?", asked Abhikshith.

"Okay", Kruthika said and gave a sigh.

Both sat on the bench in which Kruthika was initially sitting, Kruthika just saw the birds returning to their nests, children pleading their mom, "Two more minutes mom. Please"and how slowly the darkness ruled the sky.

Abhikshith was just thinking what to talk with her and how to start.

"Do you like children?", asked Abhikshith who saw Kruthika looking at those kids in the park.

"Yeah. I do like them. Why, don't you like them?", asked Kruthika.

"I'm not too fond of them. But I take good care of them when asked", said Abhikshith.

In the mid of sentence they both saw a couple and a boy around seven years old approaching them. Kruthika recognised the boy as her yoga class student and thought couple might be his parents. She waved her hand at the boy who waved her back.

"Hi Rupert", said Kruthika and stood up, while the boy came and stood infront of her.

"Hi Ma'am", said Rupert in his sweet voice.

"Oh. He always talks about yoga Ma'am. Today he's missing it", said the woman.

"Do you miss the class Rupert?", asked Kruthika, the boy nodded,"Oh that's sweet of you. So I think that you are Rupert's mom".

"Yeah. My name is Rachel Buffay and he's Matthew Heit", said woman.

"Okay. So Rupert do you practice yoga morning also?", asked Kruthika to Rupert while she came to same height as of Rupert.

"I do practice yoga", said Rupert. Everyone one laughed at his answer because his voice was so sweet.

"May I know your name Ma'am because we just call you yoga Ma'am all the time. Rupert can't pronounce such difficult Indian names", asked Matthew.

"Yeah Kruthika Krishnapur", said Kruthika.

"Oh it's much harder to pronounce than I thought it might be", said Rachel raising her eyebrows.

"Okay we have to go, we're getting late. Rupert say bye to Kruthika Ma'am", said Matthew and took a leave.

"So he's your student", said Abhikshith.

"Yeah. Can we go now it's time for us to go. I've to make dinner. Yeah what do you want as dinner?", asked Kruthika.

"I was thinking about it, why don't we order something. It's on me I'll pay for it", said Abhikshith.

"Okay we can order online. But we'll pay only for what we eat. I don't like it when someone else pay for things", said Kruthika.

"Okay. There's a coffee shop nearby can we have some coffee together?", asked Abhikshith.

"Abhi, can we just go to home and order something. Please", said Kruthika.

Abhikshith agreed to it. They were walking out of the park and going to home.

"So how many rounds did you complete?", asked Kruthika as she glared at the road.

"I didn't count it. I just counted time consumed from that I'll get to know how many calories I burnt", said Abhikshith.

"From calories you reminded me, I haven't observed you following any diet. What is it your secret or something that you don't wanna reveal to us?", asked Kruthika as they walked to home.

"I don't follow diet when I'm abroad. My sleep cycle is altered here. So i just keep a count on my calorie intake and I try to burn it through exercise", said Abhikshith.

"Oh on returning to country you continue your diet", said Kruthika.

"That's right", said Abhikshith.

Kruthika took her cellphone and ordered pizza, pasta and a cold drink as dinner. They reached home by that time and both freshed up, time was 7:43 pm. Kruthika stood at the balcony, she still needed some air even after spending nearly an hour in the park. Abhikshith saw her and stood beside her, it was dark, stars were visible in sky and the moon whose presence one noticed in day was turning brighter.

"What are you looking at Kruthika?", asked Abhikshith.

"Which kind of answer are you expecting?", asked Kruthika.

"The truth one", said Abhikshith.

"I was looking for the delivery man. Thinking of my food, no our food", said Kruthika and giggled.

"So what was other answer of I had asked other one", asked Abhikshith.

"Nothing I would've just said some crap which just pass the time", said Kruthika.

"Okay then let's discuss the crap. Can I ask you a question? What do you feel about me?", asked Abhikshith who had intense look in his eyes.

"I feel that you are a very good performer on screen. I've watched your movies and I just love them. I like your spontaneity, the way you respond to media who try to bring you down sometimes. You are really straight forward. I like it, but the mystery is why do you choose to stay here?", asked Kruthika. She knew the answer but still asked him the question to know his response. She wanted him to propose her quickly and to end his chapter in her life. But God had other plans for her which she cannot change.

"I'm really flattered about your review. And I've given answer already to your question. And I don't want to be rude but understand that you'll never get a roommate like me", answered Abhikshith who knew the weak point.

"I didn't ask you a question. You asked my feelings about you and I just answered your question. That's it! So how's the shooting of film going on?", asked Kruthika.

"It's going pretty well", answered Abhikshith ending the answer, but Kruthika was looking at him which meant she wanted more elaboration about it, "Shooting is almost 60 percent completed, only shooting of songs is pending. If everything goes well film will release on diwali".

"Hey there comes our food", says Kruthika as she saw a man holding the parcel in his hands waking towards the door
