4 Chapter 4

I got my phone and started dialing her number. Now, i know people dont usually "dial" anyones number anymore but i personally think its fun to hit all the numbers. I was too tired to facetime her so i just audio called. I know she probably wants to see me again but this would be the first audio call we've had since we parted, so i think its alright.

I called her but she didnt pick up the first time. She usually does but maybe shes just tired. I called her again and there was still no response. "I hope shes alright." I said. Would've she got caught or something bad happened? "Oh i really hope shes okay."

I called a third time and still no answer so i went downstairs to find Nana and tell her. Usually shes in her office or bedroom. I checked her room first but she wasn't there so she must be in the office. I went to her office and sure enough she was sitting in her chair reading a book. "Nana, do you know why mom wont pick up the phone? Ive called her 3 times and she usually picks up on the first ring." I could tell she noticed the panic in my voice with how she responded. "Sweety its okay. Knowing your mom she probably over worked herself or something. Shes probably just tired." She said this in such a calm and reassuring voice so i started to relax a bit. " You're probably right. Sorry, I got really worried for nothing." She just smiled so I went back to my room.
