Actually, the concept of divinity is something totally scientific, the power of the faith itself can be something scientific, any being can create a machine capable of creating something, maintaining its existence and giving it power, then using something as an activator that activator can be anything, faith, belief, worship, war, death, life and etc. It literally is like that, even "true" immortal beings are scientifically explainable, if you understand the laws of something you can explain it
