Author this new storyline is kinda interesting but its an extreme bummer what happen with the Vampires, like the entire race just got left behind millions of years ago. I wish the vampires hadnt got left behind in the first place but it would be cool if he somehow eventually reconnected with them at some point and It would be nice if they recognized him and the royal family is still around. This is my suggestion for the future and so far irs a great story.
