Odin isn't a hypocrite he changed and realized that war was not the way to peace but Hela has a raging, impatient, volatile, and overly ambitious personality, which makes her prone to killing or maiming anyone who stood in her way. Hela rebelled against Odin and hence, he banished her from Asgard, and later imprisoned her personally when she revolted against him. Thor is not that smart but he is loyal and a good friend and Loki will backstab you and trie to take over your organization,
Actually I totally understand Hela. Odin changed his views, but it was after Hela turned into. He used her as a weapon. And it's not like her actions didn't stem from how Odin raised her. đ¤ Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think without the will of his father who was also the ruler of Asgard, she would be like that. You might say he changed way after she turned psycho đ, but I don't think that lessens any responsibility from Odin's side. what I think that happened to hela was that she wanted her fathers approval. So she turned into a killing machine. Odin changed so drastically that she didn't see him as her father anymore or something. Loki (at least in MCU) was easy to manipulate đ¤ at least it'll be for Grin, because he knows Loki and some of his secrets. And I don't think Grin would invite Loki to SMILE without making sure nothing happens. Thor was a bit dumb at first. đ¤ And his title as Prince and next ruler got to his head. đ¤ˇ
