You’re a Human

To all women out there:

Losing your virginity does not mean losing your moral decency. Virginity is just a social construct, and social constructs--more often than not, in my perspective--do not matter at all. You are human, and humans are allowed to do whatever they want with their bodies, so long as they are cautious. If you value your virginity, then there's nothing wrong with it. If you don't, then there's nothing wrong with it, too. I'm not saying have sex now with whomever you want (but I respect it if you want that, too). If you gave it to the right or wrong person, it does not matter. But remember that your value as a person does not shrink down because of the destruction of a small part of your body. You are not supposed to follow some sick rules of the society; you are the society, and you make your own rules, most especially to your own body. If you lost it, stupid people would start calling you names. And, as the profession of ancient, stone-aged, caveman-like Filipinos, they will never stop judging you for it.

If you lost it, you are not a flirt, you are not a harlot, you are not a prostitute, you are not an indecent piece of shame; you are human.
