In Lu Yao's eyes, all these attacks coming towards her were easy to dodge blindfolded, not to mention seeing them, she after sees them in slow motion thanks to a technique she has created while on the road.

On the road, Lu Yao has been slowly but surely increasing her control of both Mana and Chaos energy. One of the characteristics of Chaos energy was enhancing spiritual and energy attacks. So Lu Yao decided to train it by leaving herself open and letting beasts that she aggravated hit her.

At the start, Lu Yao wasn't used to letting enemies hit her without fighting back. So she instinctively dodged and counterattacked. However, at some time, later on, Lu Yao was able to start controlling her subconscious, which also affected Chaos energy, giving her another way to control it.

Lu Yao had seen the benefit of using both ways since both methods teach and help in controlling Chaos energy-giving Lu Yao double the results with half the effort.

One day as Lu Yao was fighting a boreas tiger, a creature known for its speed and deadly strikes, Lu Yao accidentally concentrated some Chaos energy and directed it towards her eyes only. This accident showed Lu Yao that her Chaos energy is best suited for not only physical enhancements but even perception and awareness.

As suddenly Lu Yao felt her surroundings dim down, she could see everything around her clearly as if time had slowed down. In this state, Lu Yao had felt her control over Chaos energy slipping, making her almost get injured from carelessness.

Finishing off the boreas tiger fast, Lu Yao started checking out this new ability she got. Previously Xue Mo and Lu Yao started using Mana empowerment with Chaos and SSP energy as it elevates their power to high degrees. However, since their bodies are still weak and can't handle that much power yet, they have a limited amount of time to use it.

Now Lu Yao has found out that concentrating the energy on different parts of the body yields alternative results. 'This needs further studies to check if all energies are like that or just Chaos energy.' Lu Yao thought.

Lu Yao has tried to apply Mana to her eyes, just like what happened with Chaos energy. Still, different from her expectations, instead of slowing down and heightening her senses like Chaos energy, it instead gave her better views. It enhanced her vision making her able to see for several meters away with ease.

Lu Yao kept experimenting with Mana and Chaos energy by infusing them into different parts of her body. The result that came out was that Mana enhances the physical body to some extent while Chaos energy, on the other hand, slows down the body and heightens the reactions.

Trying the same thing with True Qi (Arch) energy, Lu Yao discovered that nothing happened. Other than that, she could enhance her perception of energies, meaning that she can control both Mana and Chaos energy with ease after having activated and infused True Qi (Arch) energy into her body.

Lu Yao started to practice using these abilities that she had found, that way she won't have to suddenly get burdened with finding herself in a tight spot when it counts; from losing energy or having been too slow to activate them.

Lu Yao kept on dodging these puny and weak attacks with ease. By infusing a small amount of Chaos energy in her eyes, she saw all the attacks and avoided them, not because she can't retaliate, but so she can see their faces when they find out that she was playing with them all along.

Lu Yao started getting bored, even after making up her mind and planning on killing the 'weak' trio, she still hadn't moved and kept on dodging hoping for a change to happen. Lu Yao wanted to torture them and make them pay for underestimating her, humiliating her, and having the guts to attack her. Although she wasn't small-minded or cared about these things, she still felt annoyed at them.

'Can't you do something better? Entertain me more; if you do, I will torture you less than usual.' Lu Yao hoped.

As if replying to Lu Yao's please, Ogma made another hand sign that prompted a nod from his two companions—seeing the small but fast interaction. Lu Yao got curious about what they will do next, 'It seems fate wants them to die less painfully than usual. No matter, as long as I get to torture them, I will be satisfied. Having been with Mo all this time, I started losing my edge, even last time's torture session wasn't as eventful as it should have been.'

While Lu Yao was thinking about ways to torture them, that will have them suffer less than usual as she inwardly promised, Ogma, who was in the front trying to hack her with his sword backed off and got behind Yoru and Phante.

With the sound of Ogma's fading voice, the ground on the battlefield started to distort and break as lumps of mud and stones began to coagulate over each other. A worm looking shape started to appear in front of Lu Yao, making her widen her eyes in surprise, even her cold aura flickered for a bit.

Although Xue Mo making a new kind of undead was something surprising to Lu Yao, the thing in front of her truly shocked her and made her stop for a second.

'Golem! That's a Golem without a doubt. But that's impossible!!!'

Seeing the small opening that Lu Yao's shock gave them, Yoru and Phante didn't waste time and unleashed destructive attacks trying to finish Lu Yao off.

'Damn.' Lu Yao had regained her bearings at the last second as she cursed while dodging the killer attack targeting her.

Before she can concentrate her Chaos energy onto her eyes, and using 'Slow will' again, the worm-shaped Golem attacks.

Golem. It is a spell of myth. Known to have the ability to make pseudo living life forms from anything that can be considered Earth. This spell was researched and experimented on for many years until it was lost in the annals of history. Thought of a way to be able to create life, this spell was considered a dangerous and highly energy consuming.

spell. The biggest drawback it has is that it dissipates at the slightest mishap from the caster, so only those with high confidence in their Mana control would dare use it. But after having lost it, many people tried to recreate it or its effects to end up with nothing but a waste of time.

For this kind of ancient spell to appear in the Ash Expanse, a low-grade world confused Lu Yao to no end.

"With your senses in the palm of my hand, I turn them astray at my whim. Confusion Ray." Lu Yao muttered silently; that way, the other three couldn't hear.

A white beam of transparent light shot from Lu Yao's hands, the light was almost negligible and was overlooked by Ogma, who didn't see it coming towards him.

The white beam hit Ogma squarely in the face, without him feeling anything wrong, Ogma tried directing the Golem towards Lu Yao. When Ogma pointed towards Lu Yao so the Golem can attack her, he unknowingly was pointing at himself.

The Golem wasn't smart and only knew to follow orders. He saw Ogma point at himself, and it assumed that an enemy must have attacked him. After all, Golem's aren't truly alive but more akin to puppets.

Ogma still had his senses reversed; he saw that the Golem was heading at Lu Yao's direction and that she was just dodging Yoru and Phante's attacks, so he started to smile smugly. 'We have won.' Ogma sighed in relief as Lu Yao was an enemy he wouldn't want to fight. Unless he had the Golem, he would undoubtedly die.

Just as the Golem was about to reach Lu Yao, Ogma heard Yoru's worried voice. "Ogma, watch out."
