Lu Yao turned her head to Delvin, who just finished disposing of Yoru's Soul remnants and spoke: "Do you have a space ring?" Hearing Lu Yao's words, Delvin got a confused look on his face as he asked, "Space ring?" Hearing her question being thrown back at her, Lu Yao was surprised: 'Do they not have space rings in their world?'
"A space ring is a ring that space magic was used to create, and can house nonliving things, but it has a limited amount of space. Have you not heard of it?" Lu Yao explained before she questioned Delvin.
Realization dawned on Delvin as he replied: "So you meant a storage device. Of course, I do. Do you want it, young Miss? Although the one I have on me right now is too small for your identity. It at most can house enough storage as big as this low-grade world." Delvin's words surprised Lu Yao and even made her open her mouth and close it a couple of times. 'So it's called storage device in higher worlds. For it to house this much space in it as big as the Ash Expanse, it must be of high grade too.'
Delvin didn't let Lu Yao reply as he directly threw a greenish purple-colored necklace at Lu Yao before saying in an apologetic tone. "I am sorry young Miss; if I knew you would want a storage device, I would have given you a high grade one. But don't worry, young Miss, once we go home, I'm sure the Master will give you the highest grade that we have." Delvin said, assuming that Lu Yao will go with him to where her family lives.
Lu Yao didn't confirm or deny Delvin's words, so he thought that she would go back with him. 'Hehe, leave. How can I leave without Xue Mo?'
Delvin didn't know Lu Yao's thoughts, but he saw that she was happy taking the storage device from him. 'I'm sorry young Miss for me to give such a low grade device to you. Don't worry; I will surely compensate you.' Delvin promised himself.

Lu Yao already felt changes in her body, although subtle and small, she felt an increase in her physical activities, as her body was reinforced. Her brain became a little faster if it were anyone else they wouldn't notice. Still, after cultivating both her Soul and energies to higher levels, Lu Yao was able to detect and follow these changes, making her gain a happy smile on her face.
'The taste doesn't matter; only effects do.' Lu Yao thought before eating and chewing another part of the rubbery hands of Phante.
Delvin watched as Lu Yao kept eating Phante without a change of expression as if this weird scene was nothing new to him, which made Lu Yao, who was ready to give some vague excuse surprised, so she decided to probe for a reason.
"Don't you find what I'm doing a little weird? I won't blame you if you do since it is bizarre and disgusting to see someone eating the flesh of anything that isn't a beast in front of you?" Lu Yao directly asked, making Delvin a little surprised since he knew that even after all this and her father's message that Lu Yao wouldn't truly trust him, hell, she might not even trust her father.
Regaining his composure and reigning in any expressions that might appear on his face, Delvin calmly answered Lu Yao's inquiries, "It's not my place to question the young Miss. Whatever the young Miss wants, I will do. If the young Miss wants me to hunt the whole tribe back at the village, I will do it for her." Delvin's words didn't only surprise Lu Yao that there is a whole village of Ogre's Elves and Triants living together but also proved Delvin's loyalty, which might seem fake, but Lu Yao was able to tell that it was genuine.
Lu Yao didn't speak any further but continued to silently eat Phante's body, making the 'Units' in her body active and craving for more. Finishing the hands and feet of Phante after cooking them, Lu Yao saw that her physical power was enhanced and that almost half the power of her usual physical body increased by half.
(A/N: for those who might not understand I meant that if her full force was 1.0 normally, then now it has become 1.5).
Lu Yao was satisfied, and so she took the rest of Phante's body from her storage device to consume him.
After getting rid of some unnecessary parts, Lu Yao continued to eat Phante's body, which had some bones in it that gave her some difficulty.
Lu Yao had noticed that the area that was most enhanced was her mouth and especially her teeth as they became sharper, 'Probably the 'Units' work, done so I can consume better 'Products.'
Lu Yao finished eating Phante's body when she suddenly felt full but not in a way that she can't eat more but full in the sense that if she ate more, she might burst.
'Do the 'Units' need time to digest, so my body gave me a signal to stop eating until they are done.' Lu Yao saw this as the most plausible clue to her situation, and her instincts told her that her judgment was correct, which reassured her.
'Has my mind gotten better? Have I become smarter? Even if I could have deduced that info before, but not this early or easily as I've just done. I think my theory is correct and that the True Body Cultivation Technique strengthens not only the body but also the mind… Now that I think about it is also a part of the body which is normal to be enhanced.' After devouring Phante's corpse, Lu Yao turned her head to Delvin, who had an emotionless face and looked as if he didn't feel anything. However, Lu Yao was still able to notice a small look of surprise on his face, which made her wonder what's wrong, but seeing that Delvin was trying to hide it, she didn't ask.
'The young Miss can increase her stats by devouring living creatures? Is it like that high and forbidden skill gluttony? No, it feels different; gluttony just takes stats from whoever was eaten and directs them to random places.
