132 Not Sparing
Yoru and Phante had been so focused on Lu Yao that they hadn't seen how the Golem was running at Ogma's direction, not Lu Yao's.
When they found out, it was too late. Although Yoru tried to warn him, Ogma didn't know that he had been attacked using curse magic, making him not differentiate left from right. So he thought she was talking to Phante, who was engaging in a fight with Lu Yao.
"Don't worry; my Golem is almost upon her. Phante holds on for a few more seconds, and my Golem will finish her off soon." Ogma, unlike other peaceful Ogres, was aggressive, and other than when he first talked to Lu Yao, he was acting too arrogant.
The trio were all weird. Three Magic Masters in a low-grade world like the Ash Expanse. An arrogant and a snobbish Elf, a smart but evil Ogre and a Triant. Yoru was the one Lu Yao hadn't figured out the temperament of from the trio. Triants were usually solitary creatures who rarely interact with any other life form, but the three in front of her all displayed characteristics, unlike what is known about their races.
Although not every creature is the same, and not every person should be kind, pleasant, similar to what is known about them. But for three unique people with races known for their peacefulness and unhostile to anything that isn't human, to act that way must mean there is more behind this.
'It must be that Oracle the Ogre talked about.' Lu Yao felt that she was onto something.
The trio in front of her were strong for this world. Their power was also nothing to scoff at to anyone else, that is. But what helped her reach this conclusion was the magic Yoru used and the Golem spell Ogma applied.
Ogma was still thinking of how he would make that fox regret offending the Great Oracle when suddenly he felt danger coming towards him, making him instinctively jump to the side.
Although Ogma tried to dodge completely, he wasn't able to, making him lose his right hand.
*Gaaaaahhhhh*
A heart-wrenching scream escaped Ogma's mouth as he regained his senses thanks to the pain he was in.
Hearing Ogma's scream made both Phante and Yoru's hearts go cold.
Although they were warriors, they had experienced, and it wasn't their first time getting hurt, but for one of them to lose a limb like that was something unexpected.
For the first time since the fight started, the three could finally see what Lu Yao truly is. She wasn't just some weakling or someone with power that the Oracle wanted to meet, but someone with an overwhelming prowess that can play with them as if they were toys in the palm of her paws.
The three finally regretted trying to assume airs, attacking her, and thinking they were strong since the Ash Expanse was a weak place in their eyes.
Now they wished to go back in time and do everything she told them to. Too bad there is no medicine for regrets they know of if there was, they would have bought it and in bulk.
What the three of them didn't know was that Lu Yao came here to ransack and kill to start her body cultivation and accumulate resources. With three powerful creatures like them in front of her, Lu Yao wouldn't let them live but become nourishment on her path to the top.
The difference was that before, they could have died easily and quickly, but now, after all they have done, the way they will die made Lu Yao, who was thinking about it, feel a wave of excitement course through her body.
The trio now with fear clear in their eyes stared at Lu Yao with horror-stricken faces. They wanted to kowtow and apologizing while asking for forgiveness, but their stupid pride wouldn't let them. They should at least try to fight back; they still outnumber her by three.
Not like Lu Yao would spare them anyway, but for them to even still hope for surviving, shows how naïve and hopeful they still are.
Lu Yao stared back at the three stupid 'kids' with cold and dark eyes, as if looking at her prey. 'Should I start with skinning? No, that's just like last time. Let's make it different this time around.' Lu Yao thought darkly.
At first, Lu Yao wanted to torture them, but now that she saw some things that will help her and Xue Mo, she will extract information from them before torturing them.
Since she decided on her next course of action, Lu Yao prepared methods that will increase the pain when she extracts whatever she needs from them.
Lu Yao sadistically grinned, making the three in front of her who were already scared sh*tless shake even more.
Making her way towards them, Lu Yao started approaching the already injured Ogma. Usually, the people in front of her will spew bullsh*t and threaten her with their background, and she will talk some more unnecessary crap, and someone else will come to fight and save them.
But Lu Yao wasn't like those dumb people. She directly approached Ogma, who was already scared, while inwardly begging 'Please, mighty oracle save me!!' Too bad for him, the Oracle either doesn't care or is just using him as a test to see how high Lu Yao's strength is.
Lu Yao directly approached the almost three-meter tall Ogre and punched him right in the stomach. With her might that increased through body cultivation (having the energies remove impurities from her body), and empowering herself with energies, Lu Yao's casual punch made the Ogre fly away while spewing blood from his mouth. Knocking several gigantic trees on his way, he finally stopped his descent by hitting his head with a large rock, knocking him unconscious.
Yoru and Phante stared wide-eyed at how easily Lu Yao dispatched Ogma, making them think, 'if her casual punch is that power to knock a Magic Master off just like that, what would a serious punch do?' The thought of a serious punch of Lu Yao made them almost faint on the spot.
After seeing and making sure that Ogma is unconscious and not faking it, Lu Yao nodded her head and started approaching Phante next.
Looking at the approaching figure of Lu Yao, Phante forgot all about his pride and dignity and directly started kowtowing while banging his head on the ground. Lu Yao didn't stop her steps at the scene in front of her but increased her pace, when she was a few meters away from Phante, Lu Yao noticed something 'What's that smell?! Ah, it smells like pee or sh*t! Wait, it is Pee and Sh*t!!? WTH I haven't even done anything yet?' Lu Yao wondered if she had scared him that much for him to let his lower bowels explode and release itself.
Although Phante was kowtowing while shi*ting and leaking from his innards, Lu Yao didn't stop her steps, although she lagged for a second, but she still continued making her way to him, 'This isn't as bad as what that place had!' Was Lu Yao's thinking when she saw the state Phante was in.
Since Phante disgusted her and made her nose suffer from the smell while making her remember some unpleasant memories, she took extra 'care' of him. If Phante knew that he made his situation worse by losing control of his lower parts, he would say, "It's not my fault that you are scary!!?" Phante doesn't know that, though, and Lu Yao doesn't care about what he might say anyway, so it will still be in vain.
Lu Yao didn't knock him unconscious and deal with him later as she had done to Ogma, but she held Phante from his once beautiful and long but now unkempt hair that makes him look crazy and banged his head with the ground repeatedly, making him lose several teeth and get some nose bleeds. It took him seven repeated hits before his eyes rolled back to the back of his head, prompting Lu Yao to throw him to the side.
Yoru has seen what happened to both Phante and Ogma and thanked the stars for having the brains not to offend Lu Yao much, 'Now let's just get knocked out. I at least haven't offended her much and even apologized after I did.' Yoru thought while thanking the stars for not having offended Lu Yao again.
Lu Yao neared Yoru, who looked frozen in place after seeing how futile it is to struggle and started closing her eyes, waiting for Lu Yao to knock her out.
Just like how Yoru thought Lu Yao approached her, however, instead of knocking Yoru unconscious swiftly, Lu Yao grinned sadistically before hitting Yoru in her shoulder, breaking several bones there. "WHY?!!" Yoru didn't understand why Lu Yao hurt her more than she did to Ogma and Phante, who offended her.
Lu Yao didn't answer but hit Yoru in the knee, breaking more bones.
*GAAAAAAAAAHHHH*
Yoru kept screaming from pain until she fainted.
'Tsk tsk. Did you think I would spare you or lessen the punishment because you apologized? That's wrong thinking there, you just got a free card to die swifter, but you will still get tortured." Lu Yao sadistically said after knocking the last of the three unconscious.
Just as Lu Yao was about to use a technique to extract information from Yoru, she heard a rustling sound come from the back, making her turn her head in that direction.
