Lu Yao and Xue Mo are still discovering the 'Heart Core' they possess. Not only can it cultivate other energies than True Qi (Arch) energy, it can even cultivate Mana and the distinct energies of Xue Mo and Lu Yao, respectively being SSP energy and Chaos energy.
Although Xue Mo and Lu Yao aren't sure of that possibility, the alternative pathway system in their bodies that lets Mana and the other energy pass through it confirms it somehow.
One benefit Xue Mo and Lu Yao discovered is that the energies being absorbed into the 'Heart Core' can be able to merge. Other than that, the 'Heart Core' can also purify the energies. Even though the process is slow, in the long run, it is better than nothing. The Chaos energy and SSP energy of Lu Yao and Xue Mo are high tier energies with high purity, for them to still have a way to get even purer is such a boon to them.
Xue Mo watched as Lu Yao injected her pure and strong combined energy into the vial of magma beast remains. Although dead, the magma beasts were still just Mana that has given pseudo-life to magma. Meaning it is still only magma that has Mana saturate it and provide it with life. If the process didn't stop, it could last for thousands or millions of years.
Lu Yao wasn't trying to make another magma beast but wanted to see what will happen if she saturated the dead magma infused Mana with purer Mana. Although the Mana Lu Yao had imbued into the magma beast remains is a mixture of two energies, the process is still the same. So even if Lu Yao wasn't injecting just Mana into the vial, she was still recreating their process.
After an hour of imbuing Mana filled Chaos energy into the remains, the magma beast's remains started reacting. The previously red fiery liquid of fire property mana started gaining the grey color of Chaos energy in it.
Although this wasn't Lu Yao's aim, she didn't mind it and continued pouring energy into it. This process proceeded without a hitch since no one other than Xue Mo and Lu Yao was in that area.
It took Lu Yao another three hours to finish saturating the magma beast remains. Lu Yao and Xue Mo stared at the half red, half grey liquid in the vial and sensed that it was enough. If Lu Yao tried over saturating it, she might have turned it unstable, making it explode.
After she did that, Lu Yao thought of how to make the runes be seen as objects to be cultivated. Even though Lu Yao knows how to make the counteract rune and has some ideas on how to improve it or upgrade it, she wants to make sure she misses nothing before doing anything.
Reviewing all she knows about the counteract rune, Lu Yao organized her thoughts, 'The counteract rune is a rune that can negate and return any attack that it senses, done according to the command of the caster. The counteract rune can also be fused with other runes to enhance its power. The most it can negate is someone at the weak Magic Master level (101-125). Countless people have tried to recreate it and make it work for higher levels, but it was all in vain since no one succeeded.'
After making sure she has reviewed all the known information about the counteract rune that Lu Yao learned from the Academy, she started pondering about her theories on how to improve it.
