6 Shadow Pressure

While Xue Mo was scrutinizing this new yet unfamiliar form of energy, he figured out what it was.

It was the Primordial Origin energy that fused with him along with the soul shard. He did not recognize for a second that it somehow evolved to a higher tier of power that he didn't know existed.

The changes that occurred to it were so blaring and instantaneous that he almost didn't notice them.

If it weren't for this shadowy miasma that accompanied it, he wouldn't have noticed that the energy he assimilated from Primordial Origin had changed.

The once docile and easily manipulated energy of Primordial Origin became lively. It became a type of energy that was hard to control. Trying to control and shape it was akin to a kid trying to beat an adult.

The most concerning part was the hidden pressure that started radiating out of it.

Accompanying the shadowy miasma, or whatever it was, turned out to be the currently compressed form of the energy. It exuded a pressure that could crush an ordinary Celestial blood-stage cultivator to death, and that was just the pressure that it emitted by itself.

If Xue Mo controlled it, with his experience, it could probably contend with a Divine Celestial Stage cultivator, and that was only in its base form.

If he utilized it correctly, it could destroy cultivators in that stage with ease.

Divine Celestial Stage cultivators weren't cabbages that you could see everywhere. They were the greatest existences in the Divine Hell Universe.

He was previously only a Divine Celestial Stage before his death. In conjunction with his death and losing his cultivation, Xue Mo was now as weak as any mortal, possibly even more fragile. Although his new body had unlimited potential, he had chosen to start with a frailer body as compensation.

He gave up on changing his body again, lest the situation became worse. Besides, he was satisfied with his current form.

He now noticed the power of this new and unique energy that he possessed. He dubbed it as [Shadow Soul Pressure]—owing to it having a shadowy figure and intense pressure and the mutation that occurred to it after evolving through his soul.

He started delving into it further trying to unearth it's potential and the limit it possesses so he can find the best way to use it.

Xue Mo figured out that the pressure that it has, if suppressed by him, couldn't be felt. It had a 'pure' form unique to him, an additional factor that he couldn't comprehend.

It was like something was stopping him from understanding it. Still, he felt that this was connected to his seals and that when he started unlocking them, it would unravel itself.

Thinking that maybe in the future, he will find further uses for Shadow Soul pressure, Xue Mo decided to put this problem aside and started practicing body control. At the same time, gain a rudimentary influence of the new energy.

Starting to practice his control over Shadow Soul pressure, he decided first to train how to manipulate it and make simple forms with it.

Commencing the training, he at first found it hard even to move the Shadow Soul pressure. However, after exercising for over ten days, the result he received was highly disappointing, but this didn't discourage him since this was a new kind of energy that he had never met or utilized before.

Because Shadow Soul pressure was a high tier form of energy, gaining that much mastery over it was all thanks to his previous life experience. Still, he had to give some credit to the potential he received from his Shadow Light Parasite race.

Gaining high mastery control over energy was but a simple benefit of this race of his. Although he also gave limitation to the same thing making a contradictory effect, it seems that this didn't affect him in the slightest as both the advantage and the handicap appear to negate each other.

Shadow Soul Pressure is a superior form of energy that would usually be associated with hard control and impressive raw power.

So If anyone were to know of Xue Mo's thinking process, they would try to strangle and kill him, as he still didn't understand how powerful Shadow Soul pressure was.

He thought that it was just another energy like the Arch energy but a little stronger.

But in the whole scheme of things, Arch energy was but the lowest type of energy. It cannot be compared to the Shadow Soul pressure, a far higher form of energy.

Xue Mo only needed ten days to achieve some form of control over it, even if it was the most rudimentary control. It was still an unbelievable feat.

But even if he knew, Xue Mo wouldn't care or feel satisfied, as, in the eyes of someone who wanted to reach the apex, it will never be enough. Even if he has top tier potential that would allow him to reach and achieve far better results than he did, he will still think it's not enough.

It will never be adequate for him as he believes that to stand at the apex, he would need to have never-ending hard work and an unwavering will, sturdy enough to go with it.

Without these qualities, someone doesn't deserve to have the chance to reach high-level cultivation.

After another month of constant hard work, Xue Mo achieved the results that he wanted.

He could now manipulate Shadow Soul pressure to make basic and tiny constructs.

An example of that would be short but thin needles. They had a sharp aura that could contend with the sharpest weapons of the Divine Hell Universe and could easily kill a Divine Celestial Stage cultivator.

What made his mood get better was that he found an additional characteristic of the Shadow Soul pressure.

It gave him a dark and menacing aura that felt like the darkest abyss, which had the attributes to corrode and devour anything material that it lays its hand-on.

He thought he could go much further given enough time.

Still, Xue Mo decided it was enough for now, so he opted to train his body more as after all, it is by far his biggest weakness.

Although it contained bloodlines of beings that shouldn't or cannot be combined.

Another reason Xue Mo chose his body to be the main focus of his hindrance was that he believed that as he unlocked more bloodlines in him, the more robust his body would become, removing the disadvantage.

Due to the help of the Chaos Harmony Scripture, they were. Since these bloodlines became locked thanks to the seals locking his soul, and the drawback he gave his race, his body would need heavy tempering and more effort to improve than usual.
