5 Shadow Light Parasites

After an inordinate amount of time carefully studying the characteristics he wants in his race, Xue Mo started thinking of its form. After all, it's true that he didn't want any association with humans, but that didn't mean he didn't appreciate the bendiness the humanoid bodies give. However, still thinking of his disgust of humans, he wanted to make it slightly different.

Laying out the essential characteristics of the races' he wants to use, he chose to take all the inherent advantages every race had and leave out the disadvantages. But considering the balance of nature, he didn't want to give too many benefits without having defects.

Thinking how every race would innately generate problems that suppress' it under the natural order of things, and those disadvantages that he might get, may not be things he would like. So, he decided to choose the liabilities to be under his control.

Exploiting the advantages of every kind of energy sensing and controlling creatures, every formidable physique enhancing creatures, possessing every tangible and intangible form he knows, such as Elves, Dragons, Spirits, Ghosts, and Mythic Humanoids, etc..…. Xue Mo created a new species that might be the most potent species ever to exist.

Going back to thinking of the disadvantages that he will provide it with, Xue Mo will gain weaknesses but not ones so easy to exploit or to restrict in any discernible way.

He would make it that they could burden him like other races but could complement them or remove them in different ways. After all, the world Xue Mo lived in was a world where Martial arts and cultivation thrives. How can there not be some techniques that relieve or reduce the burdens that beings innately have?

Xue Mo decided after contemplation that the disadvantages are: having lousy control at utilizing energies and a weakened body that can easily be solved with his greatly trained Battle Sense honed through thousands of years of fighting and having his life endangered.

He could also remove the weak body with body cultivation through the energy-sensing abilities he took from other races and the familiarity Xue Mo had of energy, that he got from his previously high level of training.

Through different experiments and large deductions with the foundations he took from various beings, Xue Mo finally created the Shadow Light Parasites.

Thinking of the time, it took him to create a race in which he lost track of time and surroundings. Xue Mo sighed and only now just remembered that he was in his soul form, and also in the void where there was nothing around. Only emptiness.

He chose a direction to move and have some rest, yes rest, as even though he was a soul and didn't need rest physically. But, after all the time he used laying the plans for his new body, he needed to rest mentally.

After all, it is taxing to use this much soul energy and create his body. Xue Mo would need a safe place void of living beings to concentrate and not be interrupted.

Following an unknown amount of time, he found a small moon that, after checking it, found no visible signs of life, and seemingly empty, so he alighted. Finding a small cave to seclude himself in Xue Mo went inside.

Creating a body was no simple matter; it was the work of gods, and what Xue Mo was attempting was barging into the realm of superior beings that he wouldn't have tried to do before, as his cultivation was lacking and he couldn't, since he was still too weak for that.

After the fusion between Primordial Origin and him and achieving the 'Dark Soul,' his whole being changed, and his soul became as powerful as the lowest gods but was limited due to the seals confining it.

He also noticed that the 'Dark Soul' hadn't completely merged as he felt it a little unstable, but the remaining energy that wasn't locked by the seals still allowed him to create a body for him to reincarnate or transmigrate, and that is what he did.

Mulling over his body choice, he formed his body and became the Shadow Light Parasites originator, the creator of a great race.

An unknown amount of time later.

Xue Mo stood up after forming his new body. He started examining it and searching for any mistakes he might have committed.

He had found a problem he didn't know could happen, the bloodlines in his body that he painstakingly chose and selected were sealed by the same seal locking his soul.

Xue Mo thought of his future plans and reorganized the memories he gained from the fusion between him and Primordial Origin.

While examining his new body, Xue Mo noticed a kind of energy that he had never seen before surrounding him. And since he was busy creating his body and organizing the memories he received from Primordial Origin, he hadn't noticed it before.

It seems that an added boon to the formation of his new body and soul was establishing higher energy unique to him and maybe even his race. He wasn't sure and would have to wait until he learned more about his race and the energy before concluding.
