3 A Year of Training

Hey Guys, Author here, just to tell you that I found that the name Arthur didn't stick well with the story as it is not a Devil name, I'll change his name in all chapters to Azrek from now on, thanks for your support.

Enjoy your stay!

------------------

It had already been a year since Azrek arrived in this world.

During this year, many things happened to him, first, he had met his parents in this world, his mother was named Salna Dantalion, she was a member of the Berith Household who was also a member of the 72 pillars.

She was a beautiful black-haired woman coupled with deep blue eyes, she stood slightly above average in height and had a gorgeous figure, like other female Devils, she appeared to be a lot younger than her actual age, appearing to be only in her early twenty.

The Berith Family's members had a large advantage when it came to learning magic since they possessed a high affinity with it that made them able to progress at a quick pace.

His father was named Solas Dantalion, he was a member of the Dantalion Household and was also the only person possessing an Ultimate-Class power in the Dantalion Household, he was currently the Head of the Household.

He was a handsome man that appeared to be in his thirty, he had long black hair and sharp purple eyes that all the Dantalion Household descendant possessed. He had an aura of prestige around him that he had acquired due to his longtime being in a high position, giving him a mysterious charm.

Both his parents weren't able to tell what happened to him because children tend to change a lot during the first few years of their life, they were just happy to see that he became a lot more hardworking than previously.

As for Azrek, maybe because he absorbed the soul of the kid back then, he felt a deep connection with his parents when he first saw them, this day, he promised himself that he wouldn't lose his parents in this life.

Azrek's every day were separated quite simply, he would wake up early every morning, for an hour he would learn how to control his magic power, he then would eat breakfast with his parents. Directly after that, he would spend five hours training his physical strength without stop and heal the damage of his muscle for the next two hours. He would then go to eat his lunch and for the next five hours, they were spent launching low-level magic spell till his reserve of magical power was completely exhausted.

During the first six months, his schedule was like that, but unfortunately becoming stronger wasn't so easy.

During the first six months, he had shown extremely fast progress in both physical strength and magic, it was to the point that he was sure that he was at least ten times stronger physically, and magic was even more as his magical capacity had grown by more than twenty times.

But after six months of progress, he felt that he reached what could be called a Bottleneck, in terms of strength he was probably at the level of a well trained Mid-Class Devil, and his magic power was a lot higher, being at least comparable to some weaker High-Class Devil.

The thing was that it was extremely difficult for him to grow even stronger, his strength training didn't bear any results anymore, and his magic control was already nearing the highest he could go with a kid's body.

Thus for more than half a year, he didn't feel any progress.

While he was stuck in his bottleneck, he spent most of his time in the giant library to see if there was an answer to the problem.

The answer was pretty simple, it was something discovered by the First Dantalion, a Devil's body still had a limit when it came to physical strength.

Being only four years old, Azrek's limit was still pretty low, thus it was recommended not to continue training every day to let the time to the body to adapt to its new strength, and after some years the bottleneck would go away naturally.

As for magic power, it could still grow, but when one's power reached the High-class, it was extremely difficult to make it progress as fast as before, thus it wasn't something to worry about as he was still a child, his magic power would continue to grow on its own.

When Azrek finished reading this book, he couldn't help but sigh, he felt slightly jealous of lifeforms that were already Ultimate-Class when they were just born, but he didn't care too much, it wasn't something impossible to catch up, in terms of talents and potential of growth he wouldn't lose to anyone, thus the gap could be closed if he trained sufficiently.

The fact that training wouldn't bear results for a few years was, on the other hand, something wasn't really happy about, but at the moment, he didn't have the means to do otherwise.

Thus the first year of his life in this new world came to an end, there he stood looking at the giant library in front of him.

'Since I was born in this time, the knowledge I have access is even larger than the one my ancestor had access to, there is no reason that I wouldn't be able to find a solution to my current problem with this much knowledge!' Arthur looked determined as he looked at the thousands of books in front of him.

"Before I start reading books, it seems that I need to develop new magic, capable of registering knowledge like a computer..." As he muttered to himself, he couldn't help but sigh.

The human world was currently still in the 90s, thus computers were mere pieces of crap compared to what he had access to in his previous life, finding something to base his spell on could only be coming from his memories.
