Moon had several scars and scratches on her body because of the multiple amount of times her father had beat her up. The first ten years of her life (i.e. age 1 to 10) had been a nightmare. The poor soul had depression at a tender age of 7. She had gotten quite used to mental and physical abuse by now. Her father was still a sexist and would judge her all time. He would even make her feel small by criticising her about her looks because of her ugly scars he had given and also would say ugly scars belong to ugly people. Even after her father hating her so much Moon still loved her father cause she knew that he is going to change one day. Her mother on the other hand would brainwash her saying that her father was a selfish bastard and she herself would protect Moon, but when it came to helping her mother would side with Moon's father so as to not get hurt herself. When they would go out they would turn into a ''perfect'' family and everyone would praise them on how their family is so well off and complete and perfect....But little did they know how to toxic their relation was. Moon's grandparents were even worse her grandmother had once tried to poison her with rat killer, And when she was caught in the act of doing so she had said ''I tried to kill a rat with a rat killer, what's wrong with that?''.
3 YEARS LATER IT IS MOON'S BIRTHDAY

''I am finally going to be a teenager today at 9AM eek!'' ''oh wait no one is going to celebrate my birthday like every year.'' ''I guess its time for school let's go atleast my bestie is nice to me.'' (Btw her bestie's name is Min jisoo). ''Amma, Appa I am going to school'' ''we dont give a shit about where you go! do whatever you want to brat! Just come back home before 10pm after doing your whatever shit or else you will face consequences''appa said. ''Why are my parents so different cant I just have a normal childhood and soon teenage life?'' well I guess let's just do ''My Whatever shit''

Moon heads out of their house and walks to school which is just 5 minutes away. (Btw Moon pays her school fees herself by working in a 5star hotel.) She reaches the school and see's her bestie at the gate with her bag on her side.
Moon's P.O.V
I reach school pretty fast and by that I mean an hour fast cause I dont like staying at home. I look up towards the school gate and see my bestie, I quickly ran up to her and give her a bear hug. She does the same. We love spending time together like normal besties but there is a reason we are besties, she is my friend and the oy person who knows about my toxic life. ''Hey Nora what's up?''( we have secret names which we gave eachother her real name is jisoo but I gave her name as Nora. my real name is Moon but she kept my name as Akira)
Jisoo's P.O.V
''hey boyfriend what happened why the sudden hug?(btw Moon is a tomboy so jisoo calls her boyfriend besides akira and Moon calls jisoo girlfriend beside Nora) ''You know a boyfriend can hug her girlfriend any time he wants''Moon said. ''you know your not my real boyfriend akira but since your my bestie I give you permission to do so''then I give akira a bear hug.

The two best friends go in and and have their daily classes. After that they both go to the hotel where Moon works so that Moon can do her part time job and then they can go to jisoo's bungalow to play some video games.(yes, bungalow because jisoo is secretly a millionaire and that secret o ly Moon knows).
AT WORK

The two best friends go inside. Jisoo goes and sits in the guest area and Moon goes and changes into her waitress uniform and does her hair into a neat bun, and heads to the main reception area for her daily orders from the manager. Surprisingly the manager tells her that from now she would be head of staff so she would only have a two hour work shift instead of a 6 hours one. The manager also says that her that she didnt have any shifts today and she would start work again from tomorrow. In the middle of all this she had completely forgotten about her birthday and it was 5.30 pm now!

Eeeeeek! finally I got a promotion and no work for today hurrah! woohoo! let's go to the guest area now I bet jisoo is gonna squeal in delight cause now we can play games and have enough time to complete our favourite kdrama 'HWARANG : The poet warrior youth'

Moon heads out of the reception area and heads towards the guest area. But little did she know a surprise awaits for her over there...
