The wind whistled through the trees, the cresent moon hung low in the sky illuminating an old crumbling building not unlike a church, standing alone in the clearing of the forest, a cloaked figure runs into the clearing with a bundle in its arms. The figure approaches the old crumbling building with high wooden doors and placed the bundle before it. As the figure raised its head to look at the moon it's hood slid down unveiling a beautiful woman. Her pale blue eyes sparkled in the moonlight, her dark ebony hair was sleek and straight and her horns protuded gracefully from her forehead. The bundle stirred she turned and began to softly hum a lulaby, as she hummed it was like the air around her began to glow in a warm light soothing the bundle to silence once more. She pinned a note to the bundle and bent her head allowing her lips to gently brush against the head of the bundle and whispered "May you never know your origin my child nor discover who you are..." with that she stood and banged as loud as she could on the wooden door before hiding in the trees be behind her watching as an elderly man opened the door, he glanced around seeing nothing but the bundle. He scooped up the bundle and glanced once more before retreating inside. As the woman watched she sighed with relief and began to run again...
