I hope you dropping your schedule hasn't made you lose your motivation to write chapters, sometimes people need deadlines to get anything done at all, otherwise they will continue to put off doing it again and again. I hope this is not the case with you but it is very possible. Perhaps instead of setting a deadline for chapter updates just give yourself a different obligation of setting aside an hour a day to draw up ideas on the next chapter. That way you can keep up quality without having to feel rushed and without putting it off indefinetly.
In future, please write a few more chapters to give your novels an actual ending. Even if it's a half baked ending, it's still better than just finishing the novel in the middle of a fight scene and basically saying "Yeah I got sick of it, bye!" It's an insult to your paying readers and makes you look unreliable as an author. No matter how good your writing is, people won't want to bother with someone who is that flaky with their series. It's a shame because your writing is some of the best on this site. The fight scenes were great and the way you took your time in the early part of the story to develop the magic system in a unique and exciting way was great too. The story began to go too fast later on which is perhaps why you decided to drop it, but otherwise it was good work and I hope with your next novel, you don't take your readers for granted.
