Chapter 148 - Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg of the New Dimension

Tohsaka Residence, in the continuation of the magic ritual that Luvia and Rin do to call Zelretch. The magic circles that they made for many hours are finally finished, and right now they are ready to activate the magic circles for the ritual. Even though they really didn't want to activate the magic circles at all.

"Sigh, I really don't want to activate those damn magic circles and start the ritual to call that troll," Luvia said with a face full of doubt. "Because I knew something bad always happened when he asked us to do a weird thing like prepare a useless ritual only to call him!"

"We don't have a choice, Luvia, because he is our master, and we'll be in trouble if we don't do his order," Rin said with the same expression as Luvia. "Even though we both know that his order is only a prank that he made to satisfy his feeling that he always feels bored because of his long life as a vampire,"

With a deep sigh, Rin and Luvia activated the magic circles to call Wizard Marshall Zelretch, the ultimate prankster who is also the master of Kaleidoscope. The magic circles on the floor of the basement of the Tohsaka residence are shining very brightly after Rin and Luvia put their hands at the specific places on the magic circles to start the ritual.

And in only a couple seconds, the magic circles are activated, the ritual is started, and both magi are ready to meet with their weird master.

When the ritual is started, a hologram of Zelretch in full body suddenly appears from the magic circles. An old man with a beard, short white hair, and red eyes wears a black robe and black dress, and in his right hand he holds a wooden stick, which he uses to support his body.

Rin and Luvia are gulping; they already knew that the magic circles that they both made for the ritual function were to do long-range communication, but they didn't expect that the hologram of Zelretch would appear from the magic circles. It's making both Rin and Luvia feel a little freaked out.

"Hey, Master Zelretch," Rin and Luvia said with shaking voices. "Lo-long time no see."

"Both of you didn't need to be so formal in front of me like that," Zelretch said in relaxing tones with a smile that looked fake and didn't look fake at the same time.

"I didn't like something that was too formal after all."

Rin and Luvia then feel more relaxed after hearing Zelretch's words to them; their master in magecraft isn't someone to mess with. Because all the patheons all around the world are afraid of him, because Zelretch is the true magician who can use the Second Magic Kaleidoscope that is strong enough to kill a monster that is stronger than two dragon gods. That's why both of them always look so tense in front of Zelretch, their master.

"So Rin and Luvia, let me hear your monthly report," Zelretch said. "Do both of you have interesting information that I didn't know aside from the attack of Kokabiel, the eight class cards, and the peace meeting between the three great factions?"

"Master Zelretch, aside from the three pieces of information that you already knew, I think there is almost no more information that me or Tohsaka Rin can give you," Luvia said in a flat tone. "Because your words before already covered almost all the information that we both want to tell you."

"If you're saying that, does that mean you really don't have any new information that you can share with me, Luvia?" Asked Zelretch with a very sad expression on his face.

"Yeah, Master Zelretch," answered Luvia. "Sadly, I really don't have anymore information that I can share with you, Master."

"How about you, Rin?" Zelretch said. "Did you have some very good information that I didn't know that you could share with me, Master?"

"Eeeh Maybe?" Rin really didn't know what kind of information she had to tell Zelretch for the monthly report. Aside from the common news about the three things that Zelretch already said, she has a couple things that she can share with Zelretch, but she feels confused about what information she must tell Zelretch first.

"Good!" Zelretch said it with a very creppy smile. "Please do tell me what kind of thing you want to share with your old master."

'Why was Master Zelretch so eager to get some information from me and Luvia?' Rin said inside her heart. 'This is weird and not so like him at all; is his act right now only to prank us once again?'

"Well," Rin said. "Let's start with the information about Emiya-kun, my boyfriend."

After Rin told Zelretch all the other information that she never told him in the monthly report, aside from the three main pieces of information that Zelretch already knew, Zelretch looked very satisfied and happy with the information that he got from Rin. His faces look happy, and a bright smile can be seen on them.

"All the information that you gave me was really good, Rin," Zelretch said in a satisfied tone. "You did a very good job by telling me that information."

"That was my job as your disciple, Master Zelretch," Rin said with a blush on her face because Zelretch was praising her. "So you didn't need to praise me like that."

Because Zelretch is praising Rin, Luvia feels very jealous of her rival. She also knew almost all the things that Rin told her master. And when her master asked her for all of that information, she weirdly became forgetful and could not recall any information that Rin had to tell Zelretch. And now she can only bit her handkerchief like she always does when she feels upset.

"A Heroic Spirit of Arturia Pendragon that came back to life from the Saber Class Card, and another Second Magic user like me who are responsible for bringing back the Heroic Spirit to life," Zelretch said in very spiritful voice tones. "I really didn't think that Emiya Shirou of our dimension would become a Kaleidoscope user like me! Aside from the fact that he was the owner and user of the Longinus Zero and the descendant of the high human, his life story will be very interesting to watch!"

After Shirou is done pranking and giving the perverted duo Matsuda and Motohama some lessons, He quickly went back to Emiya Residence to sleep because he already felt tired and sleepy. And because Shirou must go to school tomorrow,  if he wakes up late and cannot go to school, Irisviel will become very angry with him, and his mother's anger is something she doesn't want to face.

When Shirou arrived at the front of the Emiya Residence, he could see Rin and Luvia standing in front of him with someone he already knew badly.

That someone was Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg, the magician of the second magic and the wizard marshal of the mage's association. But this Zelretch was the Zelretch of this dimension, not the Zelretch that was sealed inside his Unlimited Blade Works. And Shirou knew that the Wizard Marshall of the dimension where he currently exists would try to meet him soon or later.

Shirou can also see that Rin and Luvia's faces look so tense, indicating that they didn't expect that their master would come to Japan directly and try to meet him.

"Nice to meet you, Emiya Shirou," Zelretch said when Shirou's eyes met his. "I really want to meet with you, who are another Kaleidoscope user like me."

"It's nice to meet with you too, Wizard Marshall Zelretch," Shirou said with a forced smile. "What kind of business do you have with a low-third-rate magus like me?"
