Chapter 54 : Rogue's Resolve

' Alright , after 3 hours of reading different books and maps of the known world , I have came up with a plan to get to the mysterious land , it's gonna be a long journey , but there are no other people I would rather go with than you . ' Rogue nobally said as he opened the door to the room Alhan and Gilyu were playing chess .

' So you're finally done down there . ' Alhan replied .

' Yeah we just got bored and left , we thought you were just in shock after your fall in the training grounds .

' So are you in ? ' Rogue eagerly asked as he walked toward both of them expecting them to say yes .

' Nah , we're not . ' Gilyu answered .

' What ? We have to go , I want to find out what that voice was ! ' Rogue replied angrily .

' Listen , I think saving a kingdom once is enough for me for a while . ' Alhan added .

' I thought you were different Alhan , I really did . ' Rogue dissapointedly said as he slammed the door and walked down the stairs .

' What's with him ? ' Gilyu asked Alhan .

' Eh , just give him space , he'll be back . ' Alhan answered as he moved his rook one space on the chess board .

' They don't understand , he probably didn't even believe me when I told him about the portal and the beast that guards it . I don't care , I'll go alone ! ' Rogue thought to himself ad he walked outside looking for the outrigger .

' Where in the bloody hell is it ! Oh wait I forgot that edgy bastard Lance took it . ' Rogue thought as he angrily frowned out at the sea .

' My king , Lance , one of the former rulers of lightning country just arrived on the shore in a small boat . A guard said to Okriko as the news arrived that Lance had just arrived at lightning country .

' What ?! ' Okriko shockingly yelled as he grabbed his golden crown and put it on his golden spiky hair .

' Assemble 50 guards ! We are going to meet him and leaving the castle risks me getting assassinated , I need guards around me at all times , understood ? ' Okriko ordered as he got out of his throne and walked toward were his armour was hanging .

' Yes Sire, understood . ' The guard replied as he ran to assemble the men .
