Thanks, I hope I can feel good enough to write soon as I don’t like leaving my novels hanging. I want to at least complete all novels that I started (to the best of my capabilities). And no problem, but I can be truly honest that I didn’t start off with good writing either. I learnt to build my characters along the way, still struggle with it, and my plot could turn into a mess since I write as I go with the flow. I believe everyone has the ability to do something as long as they try. Capturing emotions in writing is difficult and it takes time to figure out your own style as well as your settings. My writing and plots also has its own flaws, but that doesn’t prevent me from trying. If one novel doesn’t satisfy me a certain way, I’ll write another one and another etc. My point is that I dont think anyone is born gifted to do something. Even if you can’t capture readers emotions now, it doesn’t mean you can’t do it in the future. it’s also alright to start something (especially something like writing as a hobby), while knowing your content is imperfect. Perfection comes with many trials and mistakes. Just like how on the first day of working, you’ll always get nervous on how you will perform. Beginning is always difficult, but as you give it more time, you’ll end up gaining more experience. who knows? Maybe in a few years I’ll find you publishing a book 😁 Before I started posting on Webnovel, I was a reader on this platform and I, too felt that my work wouldnt be good enough. I mean… even now, I get that type of feeling. Honestly, I made the impulsive decision to start writing and you can even compare my first work to this one. I also have works I didn’t particularly like, but meh already posted so whatever. I remember how I randomly logged on my webnovel account after college class one afternoon and just started writing. 🤣🤣🤣 and trust me, my first novel is not at all like jtmy or my current novels. I didn’t even know how plotting work or what the heck was the point of my novel and I just dug my head into typing constantly because I was very excited to throw my ideas out (back then. Now, I’m slightly better at plotting). And answering your question, I did receive offers from webnovel to sign with them - I think every novel but my first novel. However, I was skeptical before on whether it was safe to sign with webnovel and their conditions sounded really bad on the contract. I also promised readers I won’t lock/ sign contract wIth webnovel unless I really have to (because life doesn’t always run my ideal way). And I think after my current ongoing novels, I actually might start one of the many novel plots I had in my mind. This time, however, I think I will probably contract it for my own reasons. But as I promised my dear readers before, I won’t contract my past and current works. I enjoyed writing these stories and I hope everyone can read them without needing to pay for it (really do wish that but I also have my reasons for contracting if offered later on). Anyway~ I’ll try my best to get better. And like I said, if you ever decide to publish your works, drop me a message - you can also drop me the randomest message if you like btw I love comments 🤣. I’ll definitely check it out. Oh right, I also want to say that we are our own critics - the extreme type. most often, we feel self-conscious about something that is fine in others’ eyes. I judge my work harsher than any readers I’ve come across, but as I’ve said that nothing is perfect so my plots do have its own flaws.❤️ My health affected the quality of my work in jtmy as well, so lets hope I can complete this novel 😅😅😅 Thank you for reading my work and leaving your comments. ❤️
