CHAPTER 195: THE COST 1

"Then I'll see you later then." Jade giggled happily as soon as Marcus invited him to a dinner date later tonight. 

Now she's eagerly waiting for tonight's event. 

"See you later." Marcus smiled as well as soon as he heard his wife's adorable giggles. He can sense her excitement. "Jade..." He softly mumbled. 

"Hm? Yes?" 

"I miss you..." 

"I miss you too." 

"And I love you. Know that I love you so much." Marcus suddenly muttered those words without reservations. He doesn't know why but he feels like saying it over and over again. 

On the other hand, Jade playfully chuckled. How touching. Hearing Marcus say all those sweet things makes her want to fly to where he is that very moment. However, why is he speaking as if he won't see her again? The joy she felt suddenly subsided. 

Unknown to her, Marcus feels the same way as her.
