He Yan is a terrible and manipulative Mother. She has experienced hardship and instead of being a better person after marrying into a good family, she chosed to cause family feud so she should get kicked out. She's emotionally manipulating her own child to keep herself from facing consequences. Yujie needs some perspective, he's only a teenager, of course he'd be susceptible to that kind of manipulation.
