Preparation (II)

After hearing the news about Leviathan or rather Taniwha coming to Japan, Kojiro already begins his preparation to greet Taniwha when he arrives in Kyushu, Japan. Not only that, but Kojiro also trains both Kunou and Sakura in using their newly acquired Kaleido Stick from Zelretch. He must say that both of them are really fast learners. Kunou successfully installs a Lancer card in its full power and even can cast Noble Phantasm two times before she needs to take a break. Kunou also can use her saber and archer card, but she still needs more training before she can install it. As for Sakura, Kojiro teaches her how to use her saber card to its full capacity, the reason for this is because the hero resides inside her saber card. Sakura also can use her Archer and Caster card after mastering her Saber card.

Kunou's card consists of Siegfried as Saber, Leonidas as her Lance, and Tristan as her Archer. As for Sakura, she has Arthur Proto as her Saber, Arash, as her Archer and Cu Chulainn as her Caster.

After knowing the identity of Sakura archer, Kojiro immediately walks toward the Clock Tower and demands some answers. After Zelretch explaining to him that Arash Noble Phantasm is not a suicide Noble Phantasm but instead have a huge cooldown. If Sakura uses the Arash Noble Phantasm, she needs to wait for a month before she can use the Arash card once again and wait another week to use his Noble Phantasm. When he hears Zelrecth's explanation, Kojiro sighs in relief and gives Zelretch some of his pocket dimension ring and the most delicious sake he has in his possession.

All of Kunou and Sakura's new strength is because of his newly upgraded training chamber. With his specialty and his Kaleidoscope, he can make the Training Chamber like in Dragon Ball series, where the time inside the Chamber is faster than the time outside. Sadly he can only use this Chamber once every month because it can't handle the task of continuous use without getting blown up. They train for a week inside the Chamber, but on the outside, they only go for an hour as that is the maximum time the Chamber can handle the strain.

Kojiro also upgraded his equipment as much as he can. Sadly, his sword does not yet have the same penetration power as Foil from the Worm universe. He hopes that his device is enough for him to kill Taniwha before he sinks Kyushu.

He snaps from his thought when they arrive in front of Yasaka palace. The reason he brings both Kunou and Sakura to Yasaka palace is that the Kojiro house will be used as the meeting between Devil, Youkai, and the Church faction as the natural ground. After some talk between the leader of the Heaven and Devil faction, they come to an agreement. The church decided to send their strongest exorcise, Dulio Gesualdo. The church will be the one that handles the evacuation of the civilians with the help of a Youkai, while Devil will be the one that will reinforce Kyushu. Yasaka also orders some soldiers to stay inside the palace in case something happens. The one that is leading the guard that protects Kyoto is Nurarihyon (Even though he hesitated to accept).

When Kojiro, Kunou, and Sakura arrive in front of the Yasaka office, Kunou then opens up the door and immediately hugs her mother tightly. When Yasaka hugs her daughter, Kojiro can see her eyes widen for a second before looking at him with a small smile. As Kojiro sits down on the couch, Yasaka says.

"I must say that I'm surprised, Kojiro-kun."

"Hmmm?"

"In just a week, I can feel my daughter's chakra raise tremendously."

"Really? I don't do much, though. I only ordered her to create two shadow clones to train her chakra control while the original training using the class card."

"Her chakra reverse almost grew double her original size, you know?"

"Oh? Really? I'm not good at sensing chakra, so I don't notice it growing. I only let her exhaust her chakra pool, and when she sleeps, I heal her with a little bit of magic. I guess that is the case? I don't know."

"I see."

After explaining his training method to Yasaka, Kojiro decides to cook some food for their lunch. Some servants say that they don't need to cook because they can do it themself. However, Kojiro says that he wants to cook because he likes cooking. The servant reluctantly let him use the kitchen with the head chef watching him like a hawk.

When the food is ready, Kojiro immediately places the food on the table where Yasaka, Kunou, and Sakura already sit on the chair waiting for the food.

Kojiro and Yasaka eat their food for a few minutes before Kojiro walks to the meeting room, where he will meet Amaterasu and Susanoo once again to discuss something. As they arrive, Kojiro sees Amaterasu and Susanoo already arrive inside the meeting room with other people he has never seen. The first one is a man around thirty. He has a face that looks like he wants to punch someone. He has short black hair that looks like a thunderstruck hit his hair. He also has six Taiko drums floating around his back, and each drum connected by lightning. The next person is another man around his twenty. He has a mustache like a catfish. He has slick silver hair with bright blue eyes. He wears a traditional black kimono. What makes him unique is that he has a horn on his head.

"Ahhh, Yasaka-chan, and Kojiro-kun. Let me introduce you to Susanoo subordinate."

Amaterasu greeted them with a bright smile before walking toward the man near Susanoo.

"The angry-looking man here is Raijin, God of Thunder, Lightning, and Storm. Because of his position as the right hand of my brother, he has a small dominion over the sea. Now next to him is Ryujin, the Dragon of the Sea. He is also Susanoo's subordinate or rather his left-hand man. Raijin Ryujin, This is Sasaki Kojiro, the chosen mate of Yasaka."

Kojiro nods at both Raijin and Ryujin, who look at him with calculating eyes before nodding their heads.

"Now, we're all here, let's start this meeting."

Amaterasu then sits down on the chair that is located at the end of the table that is usually where Yasaka sits if there is an important meeting.

"First thing first, Kojiro-kun."

"Yes"

"I'm sorry to use your house to be the natural ground for the next meeting. The reason for this is because this palace will be used as an evacuation point for all civilians in Japan. With the help of your device that can manipulate space, we successfully create a place where we can place mundane people while they are unconscious. While the process is slow, we predicted that the evacuation would be finished before tomorrow morning."

"I don't mind using my home as the natural ground for the incoming meeting. When does the meeting take place?"

"Tonight."

"I see."

"Yes. I'm sorry for this inconvenience. The next topic is the placement of our people to stop the tidal wave that will be coming to the other regions of Japan. Raijin Ryujin, I want you to stay at the important point where your task is to stop the tidal wave that is coming to Japan. Raijin, you will stay in Sapporo. Ryujin, you will stay in Chiba. If you see any incoming Tidal Wave, you will stop them as much as you can. Do you understand?"

"Hn"

"Yes!"

"Good"

Hering Ryujin and Raijin's answer, Amaterasu nodded her head before taking a deep breath.

"The reason why we need to prepare for this is that Taniwha is known for his collateral damage even with the help of Poseidon who was luckily having vacation time in New Zealand, there are casualties of 2 million souls died because of the Taniwha attack. The New Zealand population is getting cut in half, just like that. The magicians around New Zealand have a difficult time containing the information leak about the magical world. Newfoundland also lost its half land because Taniwha attacked and also lost half of its population. I don't want us to get caught unprepared against something like Taniwha. In the next meeting, we will also discuss the placement for Sitri clan members and other magicians who have fine control over water magic."

Inside his workshop, Kojiro looked at many devices he needed in the fight against Taniwha. He doesn't know how durable Taniwha's skin is, but he hopes that it was the same as the Behemoth he fought not too long ago.

Earlier, he attends the meeting between the representative from the Devil Faction (Serafall, Falbium, Ajuka, and Sirzech), the Church (Dulio Gesualdo), and Youkai-Shinto faction (Yasaka, Kojiro, Amaterasu and Susanoo). In the meeting, they discuss the strategy for their fight against Taniwha. The ones who fight as the vanguard are Sirzech, Falbium, Susanoo, and Kojiro. The one that helps them from a distance is Dulio, Serafall, Yasaka, and Amaterasu, while Ajuka will support them with his Kankara formula. Ajuka also gives them armbands for communication between fighters.

Kojiro slumps back on his chair and sighs, thinking about the fight that will happen tomorrow.

"I hope nothing happens to Sakura and Kunou."
