i like a lot of the theories so here goes mine same as some of the others but a little bit different. i think it was the blades after dealing with true dream they were thought to be aggressive, they went looking for vordin and didn't take we dont know where he is as an answer so they showed the military who reigns Supreme.

I'm guessing the dalki attack. Quinn is going to evolve fast if he gets to fight some of them. I can't wait to see how powerful he'll become.

I was really curious how Paul is going to explain returning without a scratch after losing 200+ men, but the death of Truedream and his city as well as losing at least 1 military base, probably more would make a good distraction to not dig into the missing 200 much. Well done to the author for handling that issue.

it was mentioned by paul that the truedreams essentially were pivotal in keeping the peace between the military and the big four. blades wiped out the truedreams so suddenly it creates a power vacuum that likely lead to some form of civil war or power struggle amungst the humans.

I'm thinking the reason the vampires hidden on earth weren't responding is that Eno made a play to keep his own secret. I think base 2 was likely the blades doing while looking for vorden as someone else has said
