It seems interesting but the premise doesnt make sense. How are the humans alive if only select few had powers? I really, really dont think people who havent spent even a single generation improving on their powers are suddenly able to fight back against an advanced race like that, and that is even considering that the powers werent even granted to the mass. It makes 0 sense if you think about it, that the government would try to hide it when they were on the brink of becoming slaves. That greed part is stupid too, unless they were chinese cultivation novel **** characters, any functioning government or country would do its utmost to make as many powerful people as possible to fight back against the foreign race and not hold back their own race. In times of trouble and despair, history shows that humanity is a very united race atleast in their own groups or community. In that case, the community or group here is the whole human race, against an enitrely different beings from them. But this situation is still possible if the authorities were chinese I guess, as they are just plain retarded and brain dead.
