Guardian Hound Versus Death Knight

"Sorry about this, mate," Giant-sized Maleagant shrugged as he faced off against the jackal. "But you know how it is… you die and you've got to do a few favors to come back to life."

What was even more surprising to Leo was the fact that this thirty-foot monster had picked him and Morgana up without warning — obviously earning a bunch of curses from her, although she hadn't done anything else to prevent this kidnapping — and brought them inside the black crystal glowing atop the brow of his brand new helmet.

They'd been tossed into a square-shaped room with a crystal-clear window screen on the side facing the jackal while the rest of it was plain black surface and walls. There two lazy-boy like couches next to the window, which, strangely enough, had seatbelts on them too.
