Ngl, chap wasn't bad but it felt like a let down just because of how long Author had been building this war and MC's powers up. Tbh, the child of space skill tree is much more underwhelming than I had hoped it would be, with the majority of it being support skills despite the terrifying offensive potential of space abilities. Truth is, outside of the fate skill tree, he has very little offensive power, with most other trees having some iteration of buffs more than anything else. Worst of all, the law of fire, water and chaos all seem to pale in comparison to the law of fate. This makes no sense. The infernal lords are meant to be incredibly powerful, so much so that they can directly antagonize the celestials despite there being less than 10 of them. I would have thought that the Chaos skill tree would be something to write home about. Something to at least counter fate but it appears that isn't the case. Infernal lords seem to be all hype so far and Noah doesn't seem to be uniquely powerful as one either. Further, dude is not creative at all. I swear he has a skill that can destroy a planet or something to that effect, wouldn't now be the time to use such a destructive aoe? No. Instead, he grows big and uses sever with a chaos buff. And we are meant to be impressed? This? This pathetic display is what the past 20 chapters have built up to? Shame. Not too mention, all other laws apart from supreme laws don't seem to have any tangible effect. Draco's use of fire before his rebirth is the kind of impressive use of a law that we would expect from someone mastering it. Yet, it seems it is just a buff for MC. Like he didn't already have enough. Ridiculous. All in all, the past 100 chaps or so have not felt well thought out, because the story is so Noah-focused that I do not think Author has had time to breathe and really plot his development well enough. There is so much going on now and it seems as though so much strength is being accumulated but a lot of fundamentals were ignored getting here and so I feel confused. How exactly do chaos particles work? Or even fate lines? Are they merely buffs to attacks and if so, does that mean that a punch from 3 million line or particle enemy, can insta-kill someone who does not have up to a million lines? what exactly are the boundaries of strength for the other laws. What differentiates a 2 cored fire law practitioner from a 1 cored? What abilities develop? All this and much more was never quantified. Never fully explained, so now everything that is happening is equal parts confusing and unsatisfactory. I cannot appreciate MC'S unique strength if I do not even understand how strength is quantified in the novel. So victories will feel empty. That's just the result.
