The Divine Enthronement battle after ten years of the game's operation, all other classes had divine positions, only the Hunter didn't.
Back then, Li Yao, after playing Hunter for eight years since giving up on the Thief occupation, had practiced his bow and arrow skills hard, however, wasted two years playing Thief at the beginning of the game. Despite being the leading figure among Hunter players, he still had no divine position, thus became a Quasi-god, essentially a Demigod. This greatly disappointed him.
After resurging in reality, one of the things Li Yao wanted to do most was to change the plight of the Hunters. Li Yao believed that out of the nearly 20 billion people, there must be a great number who played Hunter but gave up before they even started. What the Hunters are missing is a role model to prove that they are not inferior to any other occupations.
Since he had a climbing axe and ten years of gaming experience, climbing a small hill was a piece of cake. It only took him over ten minutes to climb the 200+ yards high hill.
Standing on top, he could see the statues erected in the valley.
"Titan Statue, it should be here."
There were quite a few elite Demon Wolves wandering in the valley. He couldn't see the creature's data, but according to his memory, these Demon Wolves should be level 60 elites.
As a quasi-god level master, Li Yao could easily calculate a monster's aggro range.
Slowly approaching the nearest Demon Wolf, until the Demon Wolf stopped suddenly, looking around in confusion, Li Yao swiftly retreated.
"Aggro range is about thirty-eight yards."
Li Yao returned to the top of the hill to look over the entire valley. Half an hour later, he finally found a hopeful path to the interior of the valley through observing the patrol routine of hundreds of Demon Wolves.
He tiptoed around each Demon Wolf very carefully. The route was winding and complicated. Being spotted by a single wolf would spell certain death during the entire process.
Just because he drew the route doesn't mean he is safe. Demon Wolves are moving creatures. Li Yao had to keep a simulation of their routine in mind. If he made a slight error in his calculation, the result would only lead to a dead end.
When Li Yao reached the safe zone under the statue, his whole body soaked in cold sweat. It took him a while to recover. It wasn't physical fatigue, but mental exhaustion.
Simulating the movement routes of nearly a hundred Demon Wolves for an hour in his mind, any regular person would've fainted from exhaustion and been forcibly retired from the game.
"It should be this treasure chest."
Li Yao climbed onto the shoulder of the tall Titan statue and finally saw a small treasure chest on the back of the Titan's neck shimmering with a rainbow light.
There are two types of treasure chests in The Ancient God World, one is the random chest. They randomly regenerate on the regional map and randomly drop items of corresponding regional levels. These chests will respawn after a certain time once opened.
The second type is called the unique chest. These chests are unique. The respawn locations are fixed, and the items they drop are also fixed. Plus, they won't respawn after once opened.
Such as the chest that Li Yao was opening. After Li Yao opens it, all the chests in the High Elf's Newbie Mirror Map would disappear.
1%2%3%4%...99%100%
Despite being unlocked, it takes at least a minute to open this kind of chest. If interrupted, it takes even longer. In his previous life, Li Yao has seen countless bloodshed triggered by a single treasure chest.

With a soft sound, the rainbow-colored chest finally opened.
"System: Opened a unique chest, obtained the Eye of the Creator."

Effect: The Creator can perceive all things and deceive all sentient beings.
Requirement to wear: Hunter
Durability: Never Wears Out
It is indeed here, a smile appeared on Li Yao's face. This item, which would usually require level 60 and a flying mount to get, was already in his possession at level 0. How could he not be thrilled? Moreover, this was the most crucial step of his plan after reincarnation. All other plans have to pivot around this item.
In The Ancient God World, equipment is categorized as Damaged (grey) Common (white) Finest (green) Excellent (blue) Epic (purple) Legendary (gold) Mythical (dark gold) Divine Artifact (rainbow). Plus, there is a special kind of equipment, the legacies (red). Such equipment usually possesses growth and uniqueness.
The creator refers to the Titans, who supposedly made this desolate planet teem with life and wonders.
Tens of thousands of years passed, the Titans have become extinct in this world, but their creations and relics are scattered across all continents.
In his previous life, the Eye of the Creator was discovered by a Japanese player despised by everyone two years after the game started. The man was of a terrible character.
His favorite activity was to kill Chinese low-level characters. Killing a few low-level characters once or twice was acceptable, but what was unbearable was how he persisted in killing Chinese low-level characters over the years.
He was once placed on the most-wanted list by countless Chinese guilds. In a desperate escape, he stumbled here and discovered the Eye of the Creator.
Still, although this man was strong, no one respected him. He had practically no friends in the game, even Japanese players loathed him.
When people found out he obtained the Creator's Equipment, he practically became a universal enemy. Relying on the Eye of the Creator, he fought against three to four major guilds alone, massacring countless blows.
But in the end, he had too many enemies. Against the ocean of billions of players, he ultimately made an ignominious exit. He never logged in again after going offline, and the Eye of the Creator disappeared from everyone's sight as well.
Countless people sighed with regret. If they had the Eye of the Creator, perhaps the Hunters could also obtain divinity, causing many Hunters to lament with frustration.
Upon obtaining the Eye of the Creator, Li Yao didn't feel a shred of guilt.
Legacy equipment is incredibly powerful. Not only it's equivalent to an extra equipment slot, but also because of their incredibly powerful special effects.
The first effect allows him to sign pacts with mechanical pets which is incredibly overpowered. The mechanical items he crafts will possess a certain level of wisdom, just like a Creator.
The second effect, as long as he learns Engineering, even if he doesn't have blueprints, he can still craft items he conceives. This is recognized by the system rules. As for the quality of the items crafted, it depends on the skills of the maker and the quality of the materials used.
The third effect, as the Titans created all beings, naturally, they can see through the strengths and weaknesses of all beings and fabricate camouflage. The so-called camouflage is almost like a second identity, with plenty of benefits.
For example, in the early stages, if he didn't want to attract attention but had strong capabilities, things like first kills in raids or boss announcements could be claimed under the identity created by the Eye of the Creator. He could play the role of an unseen expert while secretly amassing broader wealth under his own identity.
For another example, when he is at a high level, he could switch races to the opposing faction. Of course, this is not an actual race change, but an illusion created by the Eye of the Creator. This deceit has been used by the Japanese player in his previous life. If his real-life identity hadn't been forcibly uncovered, his in-game identity wouldn't have been exposed.
Now that Li Yao had obtained the Eye of the Creator, the game rules dictated that he could only use a pet once he reached level 10 as a Hunter. Consequently, the most important things for Li Yao right now were acquiring the design for a mechanical pet and leveling up.
Once again, Li Yao arrived atop a cliff and, without hesitation, jumped off. Due to the game's zero-death penalty, which ensured nothing was lost upon death, and the close proximity of a graveyard, Li Yao revived at the foot of the mountain a few minutes later.
"This is the perfect spot for level 2 and 3 elite raptor respawns. Taking down these elite raptors should help speed up my progress," Li Yao checked his skills panel.
Each class, when starting at level 0, could learn one of three initial skills. Subsequent basic skills would require learning from a skill trainer, and advanced skills would require skill books.
The three skills for the Hunter class were Charged Arrow, Concussive Shot, and Arcane Shot.
Charged Arrow: The greater the power accumulated, the more potent the arrow, with first level charge doing 125% damage, second level 150%, third level 175%, and fourth level 200%.
Arcane Shot: Fires an arrow imbued with arcane energy, causing 150% damage. Cooldown time is 10 seconds.
Concussive Shot: Fires an arrow that does 50% damage and slows the target for 4 seconds. Cooldown time is 8 seconds.
All three skills were great and necessary for gameplay. However, since Li Yao was leveling solo, he needed to learn Charged Arrow.
In free mode, the charged arrow could potentially knock back or even knock down a target if successful.
However, Li Yao's current weapon was just a white-ranked Novice Bow, only capable of achieving a level one charge. A green-ranked bow would enable a level two charge, and so forth. Higher bow quality allowed for higher charge levels, but achieving a charge level above four also meant meeting certain player attribute requirements.
The High Elves' eyes turned green due to their Sunwell being corrupted by the Scourge, but by equipping the Eye of The Creator, Li Yao's eyes reverted back to their pure sky-blue color.
After equipping the Eye of the Creator, Li Yao gained a different perspective of the elite raptors.
"The blood-colored hue on its head signifies a breakable spot. Red dots appear when it runs, marking weak spots or knockdown points. The special effects of Eye of the Creator are incredible."
Thrilled, Li Yao surveyed the terrain and skillfully nocked his arrow. The moment the bow shimmered with a golden light, the arrow was let loose.
ROAR...
The arrow fired with deadly precision, finding its mark on the small crest atop a nearby raptor's head.

Hitting a weak spot added bonus damage, resulting in 12 points of damage. If the shot landed on a hard-fleshed part, the level 0 Li Yao would only deal a forced -1 damage effect on an elite raptor.
Raptor Elite (Yellow)
Level 2
Health: 800
Armor: 35
Attack: 36-42
Fierce Bite: Violently bites the prey, causing three stages of damage.
Leap Claw Attack: Powerful leap attack, using the momentum to rend prey with its front claws, causing 120% damage and 80% bleed damage.
Another function of the Eye of the Creator was to provide monster data without the need for appraisal skills.
Given Li Yao's current health of just over a hundred points, he would nearly be instantly killed if attacked by a raptor.
Under free mode conditions, if the damage or force was sufficient, it could knock down or knock back monsters.
Monsters charging at you would increase their attack, but conversely, they were also more susceptible to being knocked down.
Facing the charge of an elite raptor from dozens of yards away, Li Yao had no intention of evading. He remained rooted where he stood, his bow drawn with an arrow ready.
When the charging raptor elite was within a dozen yards of Li Yao, he released the bowstring; an arrow, carrying a faint whistling sound, sped forward.

The razor-sharp arrow fiercely buried itself into the rear leg joint of the raptor elite. The elite raptor stumbled but still sprung quickly towards him.
With a swift side-step, Li Yao narrowly avoided the raptor's lunge. At the same time, a Charged Arrow, glowing yellow, once again hit the same spot as the first arrow.
The raptor, nearly the height of a person, instantly tumbled to the ground, writhing and struggling to rise.
"This red dot on the knee joint must be the knockdown point."
With ten years of experience, Li Yao naturally knew to target the raptor's hind legs. As raptors relied on these hind legs for running, sufficiently damaging them would cause the raptor to fall. The Eye of the Creator was able to directly reveal these knockdown points, allowing Li Yao to down the raptor with just two arrows instead of the usual five or six.
"The Eye of the Creator, combined with my perfect archery technique, is a match made in heaven."
While he pondered, Li Yao smoothly continued to draw his bow and shoot his arrows. Simply pulling back the bow counted as first level charge, and each arrow accurately struck the raptor's crown.

His actions flowed smoothly like a running river, often releasing arrows without using any aim, seemingly firing blindly. However, every arrow managed to find its mark atop the raptor's crown.
It is important to note that the raptor elite was not stationary; it was constantly struggling while lying on the ground. Yet, not a single arrow that Li Yao shot had missed. This was the result of his years spent as a Hunter.
When the raptor elite finally managed to stand, it leapt high into the air and pounced towards Li Yao like an arrow leaving a bow. Its two front claws glistened faintly with blood.
The speed of the Leap Claw Attack was so quick that dodging, like before, would be impossible.
Li Yao's pupils contracted slightly, his heart pounding hard. As he let go of his fingers, a golden arrow burrowed into the raptor's eye with a soft sound, blood spewing wildly.

The raptor's health bar sharply decreased.
The intense pain caused the raptor to momentarily lose its sight, and it writhed around in agony. Its pre-attack move diverted slightly, allowing Li Yao to dodge the Leap Claw Attack in the nick of time with yet another side-step.
The precise grasp of the situation – the excellent archery, explosive power, and agility – made the difference between life and death. His current armor would hardly protect him from an elite monster's skill attack.
Typically, an elite's skill had a cooldown of about two minutes. By the time Li Yao managed to once again avoid the Leap Claw Attack using the same tactic, the raptor was near death.
After roughly another minute, the raptor elite's health finally depleted, and it collapsed onto the ground...
